Kymco, one of the popular scooter brands sold internationally has updated its Downtown 125 for 2024. The scooter will be introduced in Europe and go up against the Suzuki Burgman 125 EX in that market. For 2024, the Kymco Downtown 125 receives quite a few changes including revisions to the design. It is now sportier and sharper than before and includes a tall windscreen, a step-up seat that Kymco says it has improved.
As for features, the Downtown 125 comes with full-LED lighting, full-colour TFT display, keyless ignition as well as tyre pressure monitoring system. As for cycle parts, it gets a pair of telescopic forks upfront and shocks at the rear. The Downtown 125 rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheel as standard.
Now, the Kymco Downtown 125 is an interesting maxi-scooter that comes with decent features for the segment too. And while it will compete against a scooter we are familiar with, it is unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
