Reviews of Honda Unicorn

It is about the unicorn 160 owned by me which i used to ride every day. The bike power and speed slowed down within 1 year added by a poor service by the dealers. I am forced to start the bike in the morning by applying choke otherwise it will not start when the bike is moving the engine will not tune with the apply of accelerator it always take time to raise the power which is terrible. Another danger is the vehicle will turn off when we ride. They say key is the problem, so now I am used to touch the key when it is off and even repair it is still there the service station in my locality is just a formality. When we give the vehicle for servicing with our complaints none of the complaints were looked into. The will wash and then give it back nothing more. Then we have to go again next day morning and it will lock up there till the evening and after their check and return then within one week the same problems starts. Funny thing after that a routine check call from district service shown room about the service, if I complain then say approach the same service as if they have nothing to do with this. Maintenance costs are always on the rise. Not good.

The bike is good but the problem is engine missing every time. Really terrific experience in traffic. The engine is cut off many times and the bike is too much pricey. In the market we get superb bikes in this price. Another wrong decision I made in my life is that buying this shit vehicle. Do not buy this product from Honda.

I had dream to buy this bike, I love this sound I could really like that way of riding this bike I really want it in my journey. I can see this very smooth driving with cool sound I could just make it for happy riding with family I really want this bike most powerful engine I love it. Smooth gears, high speed.

Unicorn 150 is a bike with great millage, and smooth handling. Low cost maintenance, performance is to good, Riding experience is well .Priced bit highly, bikes pickup is smooth. Riding and city handling is easy in this to segment. Service cost is high. Daily commuter bike. Highly recommended.

I bought unicorn 160 bs6 09-02-2022, i completed 2100 km, riding this bike is amazing. I feel like riding in a car, butter smooth engine, good pickup, no back pain, i got mileage for 63 km/l in mix riding of city and long ride, i ride 60 to 70 miles per hour, cons: high RPM in morning upto 1.5 minutes, every 2 hours of bike rpm raising upto 30 seconds, gear shifting problem, paint scratches in petrol tank low quality coating.

Good seating, amazing mileage, looks as big size bike, style, comfortable and easy turn. Good breaking system, excellent suspension.

My first bike with all my love I went for it despite many suggestions this bike has a great body and well structured to use for long rides and also for a daily commuter. You can load this vehicle top class in the engine and no back pain problem for the rider. Am 6 feet guy so it will not look odd compared to other bikes pros. Honda engine top notch mileage for daily commuter greatly easily get spare parts all over India cons vibration and bit shakiness due to alignment I can see after using 3 yrs no abs & advanced technology like other Honda models.

Buying experience was pathetic. I have paid initial amount and the waiting period was more than one month.
Riding experience while starting the engine it will raise automatically to 3000 rpm. After an minute only it will come down to 1000 rpm. Major drawback was gear shifting issue. During riding sometimes gear stucked between neutral.
Acceleration is good. After 3rd service i feel the vehicle pickup was drastically reduced.
Looks & performance was ok.
Servicing & maintenance - bit costly.
Pros- can ride this bike without back pain.
Cons -
1.Gear shifting problem.
2. Parts quality was very very poor & worst.
3. Faced rusting issues in parts like shock absorber joints and other parts got rusted very quickly. Need to purchase a paint spray can along with the vehicle.
4. Speedometer cable not working after 1000 kms.

I am using honda unicorn for past 6 years now and i am writing this review after driving around 60k kilometre .Pros: 1. Due to its heavy weight it drives stable on road.2. The engine noise is less and ride is smooth.Cons:1. Very very costly service. Only free services were under or around 1k but rest all were very high. Every time i take the vehicle the service team knows only one thing to fix any issue , change the part. Service engineers listen to everything but do what they have to do.. Many a time a had to take the vehicle to repeat view . Service is pathetic.2. Very very costly maintenance . This bike is for sure not for people who earn less . Parts are very costly and service engineer known only one thing that is change the part if any issue occurs . Do not recommend this bike if you are thinking for low maintenance cost bike.3. Pathetic pickup and power. If you are two people driving the bike and there is hilly or upward road then this bike will give you nightmare. You will have to ask the pillion to step down . This bike will not able to pull. So this bike is good for normal road and not for hilly areas.4. Not so good mileage. I get around 40 kmpl in normal condition of driving.
