Best handling bike in 125cc segment.

Very good offering 125cc by hero.. New model looks beautiful. Very smooth no vibration till 80. The bike sound after 50 is so sweet. It's gives approx 62km/l . Pick up is so good. Handling is awesome.. Road grip is so good. Love this Bike. Headlight is good. Weight is 121 kg so it is good for everyone.

Initially, there were too many problems. I thought that I made a big mistake. Initially, the gear shifting was very bad, the engine used to stop working suddenly, after turning off the engine there remained some tik sound from the engine. But after 1st service, the bike became the best according to my experience. Now it's really comfortable, smooth. I have experience in city rides but I have not experienced in long rides. So can't say anything about its performance in long. But in the city commute, this is the best one. Also, the mileage is the best compared to other bikes in this price range.

I bought my bike about 5&1/2 months ago. I run my own pharmacy & i have to travel daily about 50km of ride daily because i live in rural area and my pharmacy is in town about 25km away from here.The bike mileage is genuine about 62-65kmpl & it also looks well and massy and maintenance is also very low. The service provided by hero is also very good. You can easily find service centers everywhere. So overall i can suggest you this bike if you are a daily traveller and you travel a lot from bike.

I am regretting this bike, i was having problems in it from the beginning, most of all in gear shifting, still coming after 3rd service, and starts giving vibrations at 50-60 kph speed, maintenance cost is also very high, it would have taken a good may sp 125 which is very good, it will be fine, not good, bought glamour for good looks and lower price of 85000. Buying experience was good as i have bought it almost illegally in lockdown period so all showrooms were closed. They don't had any accessories other than dikki. So in 85k i had a bike and dikki. Riding quality and handling: this feels good to ride over long distances but there's a problem braking with two people on bike is bad specially in city roads where there is always sand and dust is on road, tires don't feel that grippy. For my unit riding in night is just horrible as my unit has some problems with wiring and they don't have parts to replace them also electrical knowledge of staff is not appropriate. As of now i have completed 9000 kms and my mileage is 65-70. I do ride at a nominal speed of 50 kmph over highways(50 kms of highway riding although its not 4 lane but i do maintain a average speed of 45kmph over highway stretch). Engine performance is very good but here are things i do miss about sp125.

I have bought this bike on 19th October from my hometown kotulpur bankura w.B, from beginning it has some problem with gear. When i come to neutral it shows in green neutral but actually it stays in gear that is it shows false neutral. Then i saw the engine oil is dropping from the lower part of the engine, i have gone to showroom they first just put some gum on some where near neutral switch, but the oil dropping did not stopped, then they change o- ring but the problem does not resolved. Still i am facing that problem. The day when i bought my first bike (glamour bs-vi) the next day my clutch plate has been damaged, i go to nearest showroom (panagarh w.B) there they changed my clutch plate and pressure plate and engine oil and give me a bill amount of rs-1150. But after 1 month i have faced again the clutch problem, and this time i went to the showroom from where i have bought this bike, they again change the complete clutch assembly and said that the previous clutch plate which was changed by panagarh showroom is not for glamour (125 cc) model that was for hero deluxe (100 cc) model and again give me a bill of rs 1700. I was shocked and checked with the parts number and seen that they are right, i.E the clutch was really for 100-cc model. And when i went for the second time with my clutch problem, after opening my clutch system outer cover they found that the triangular shape plate which hold tight the three spring in the clutch assembly is completely cracked down. And they said that this may be happened because of wrong tightening approach from where i have repaired first time my clutch problem. I have faced really bad experience with my new bike.

First of all I wanted to have a bike in lockdown as public transport services were very very limited thus shortlisted two bikes suitable for my use, Hero Glamour Fi (at that time this bike was not in showrooms but teased and looks good) and Honda SP 125. I do live in small town and my daily commute was of 60 kms so i avoided SP 125 for, service issues(I knew honda didn't had any Fi bikes for masses until now thus heard staff were not properly trained to do service routine for bike, glamour has long fi history) I didn't liked the alloys of Honda much higher on road price 95000. Bought glamour for good looks and lower price of 85000. Buying experience was good as i have bought it almost illegally in lockdown period so all showrooms were closed. they don't had any accessories other than dikki. so in 85K i had a bike and dikki. Engine performance is very good but here are things i do miss about SP125. 1. Kill Switch (I hate that I3 system) 2. Disc brakes ( by time of my buying and even now disc model is not available) 3. Headlights (Maybe a different bike even a different unit glamour could have satisfied me as i mentioned my lights had problems with high beam and pass beam other than that throw of light seems adequate as i am not very happy with bikes light in particular they have a 35W unit and that's not enough to light up the road they must have at least 55W in case of halogen and 20W in case of led).
