Harley-Davidson Low Rider is a cruiser bike available in 1 variant in india. Its price starts from ₹13,66,480 (ex-showroom). Double cylinder engine of Low Rider has a 6 speed manual gearbox. With both rear and front disk brakes, Harley-Davidson Low Rider also has an anti-locking braking system. This 305 kg bike is available in 4 colours.
The Low Rider is a model in the Softail range of Harley-Davidsons - meaning that even though it looks like the rear has no suspension, it actually does. This is one of the design elements that has changed for the 2018 Low Rider; the outgoing model had twin rear shocks. The front forks are Showa dual bending valve forks. However, this is the first time the Indian market has this model, and we suppose the company hopes that it will become a favourite of customisers in India as it has in its home market.
The Low Rider will be powered by the Milwaukee Eight 107 engine, which displaces 1746cc and generates 149Nm at 3000rpm. Power is delivered via six-speed gearbox and belt drive. The current Low Rider is quite an improvement over the model it replaces; the frame is 34 per cent stiffer, and overall weight has been reduced by 14.5kg. If you don't want to go for the full-fat, full-size Fat Boy, the Low Rider will do just as well but will be easier on the pocket and in traffic.
