Wasted my money on this bike

2 days ago by Arup Kr Ray98 views

I am driving this bike from last 7 months, 22-23km mileage is very less for 349cc bike. Engine overheating is a major problem for Yazdi riders. I get very disappointed. The headlight is also of poor quality. No one would want to buy Yezdi bike. When people will know about Yezdi's performance. I would also recommend not buying

Just to let you know, wonderfully designed bike with great initial torque. I had too much fun after riding a mini beast, it's not better than a continental gt but it is way too much better for a 300 to 400 cc segment. I even took a small ride in rc390 but the comfort is not better than Yezdi, you will feel the pull in all gears.
But the heating issue will make your legs go tandoori, so make sure to wear all your gear or else you will feel a lot.
The design is not too bad, but I liked the way Yezdi adventure is designed, and to compare between re Himalayan and Yezdi adventure I would really go to Yezdi adventure. I am not here to say Himalayan is bad, but we can see too many specifications and upgrades in the Yezdi adventure series.
Last but not least, if you need fun to begin your riding journey in a 300cc segment definitely go for a Yezdi motorcycles manner, it will definitely not let you get bored.

In the city or highway, the brake function is excellent. Whether it off road or on-road bike ride will be smooth it comes with off-road mode, and rain mode options. Suspension is very good.No middle stand only the side stand.
    The cooling system is good.

Not good to ride ts motorcycle for a long as overheating is a major problem for most of all yezdi scramblers released also mileage drop and meter console don’t work apt with an indication of the speed and petrol level. While changing the riding mode it was not working as expected and some nuts and bolts of the bike got loose automatically and had an experience of the petrol outer cap broken automatically.

The first impression went bad on the sales team at kings motor madipakkam branch, providing the wrong commitment. A feel-good riding posture and comfort but you can't see the speedometer on sunny days and the clutch seems so hard while shifting. Look & engine performance is major pros and 22-25kmpl is what you can expect on this bike. My bike is just 4months old but I can see a heck lot of rusting from engine exhaust outlets. Service is another hell, they write our problems but they don't look after them. After leaving my bike for 2nd time only they will listen to what I said. Look & engine is the only pros, all others are cons.

So basically everyone thinks that this bike has a heating issue, but the thing is nowadays every bike has a heating issue the thing is once you love your bike then nothing makes you feel dislike the bike, you know that 350cc bikes will have a heating issue for sure that's the reason they need to go fast so that you can't feel the heat, and coming to perform it goes like a rocket in the budget you can get a scrambler that is a great thing only problem is the seat except that there are no issues with the bike. That's why it is not for the saints heart.

As I already own int650 and I was looking for a secondary bike for daily commutes and weekend cheap trails.
I went to a showroom the bike was parked in a corner, and I couldn't hide myself falling in love with the typical scrambler look, I took the test ride which was barely 1km...The short gearing ratio is not city-friendly, you need to keep revving this bike at high rpm but still, I trade for this bike cause I was riding 650cc so compare to that it was manageable, the heating issue was not an issue.
After buying this bike the real experience starts, the bike you ride in the showroom gives you a different experience, and living with the bike is a different case.
At some point I was getting less fuel economy compared to my int650, vibration starts coming in the frame after 4000 rpm which is really annoying, rusting on chassis and bolts are clearly visible, and welding marks on the chassis were not proper finish, the seat is a firmer side, the exhaust sound is very harsh as you reach high rpm ( during test ride you won't achieve that rpm)
Looks...Only that is the positive thing I found in scrambler, it's better to go for cb350rs, scram411, I know scram411 is outdated but u don't ride looks, it's all about feel, scram411 has less power and top speed but it's quite calm and refines.
If you are looking for a city bike and also want to do occasional touring, go for it and if budget is not an issue then you won't regret highness350 or cb350rs.

    Buying experience
Buying a scrambler is hassle free moment, it cost me 2.07 lpa , 60k rupees for rta taxes and accessories, 15 k for the desired number plate.
Almost I have spent 3 lakhs on this bike, with bike finance.
    Riding experience
Overall it's good, I can easily navigate in the mild traffics. I have changed the back tyre from 140mm to 150mm, so the mileage decreased.
Yezdi claims 35+ kms but you will get 25 kms per liter.
Tyres are labeled tubeless, but don't get confused they are with tube tyres for yezdi scrambler model, I realized it after a big puncture experience.
    Details about looks, performance, etc.
Looks: there is nothing like yezdi scrambler in the 2-3 lpa segment. Only looks!!
Performance: on highways, it gives the perfect riding experience you call to pull up to 120 kpmh on Indian roads.
On city traffic: bike demands 1st gear in slow traffics and then 2nd gear. Heavy knocking and vibration!!
On a given hot day you cannot imagine yourself riding yezdi and traffics like hyderabad. It bad!!
    Servicing and maintenance
Worst experience!! I can vouch for the service!
I have two problems, a broken indicator replacement
    Oil leakage from the engine.
Can you imagine I have wasted 4 weekends circling around the showroom's service center?
You won't get spare parts unless you keep on following up with them for months.
    Pros and cons
    Pros:
    1. Bike looks beautiful.
    2. Gives enough throttle for your fun.
    Cons
Overall, I wanted to replace this bike.
    1. Heating problem
    2. Pillion is not comfortable.
    3. Vibration cause back pain
    4. Bolts of the bike get rust within a month of usage. My 3 lk doesn't make any sense here.
    5. Worst maintenance experience with dealers and spares.

Overall it’s an amazing bike every day I use. Don’t want to get down I feel very comfortable & especially i ride this 60 km every day without issue. I did not read the review before I buy it. I bought it just for its look and want to be different from other 350 cc common bikes. Later I read the review after buying it and felt shocked there is a lot of negative feedback. However, I just start to use it I am amazed by the bike's performance and daily use no heat issue yes it is for the first two days after that it disappears. Now I am 100 % happy that I chose the scrambler such a great bike. My friend tried my bike he sold his yamaha mt he booked this. I was a big fan of yamaha until I use this great job and thanks for yezdi jawa.

At first, it is a good-looking bike, and also the riding experience was amazing. Happy to buy a scrambler. I tested so many and in end, I think this is the best in engine performance, good in seating, good in breaking, mileage is too low, and we can feel some heat near the right side of the engine. It's not from the engine. It's from the silencer rod which is near our right leg. My suggestion is to cover that silencer part with any heat sink. So we can feel better.

This is the new Yezdi Scrambler – one of the coolest looking motorcycles that ever went on sale in India. The bike costs Rs 2.42 lakh on-road Mumbai and that makes it little more expensive than the Yezdi Roadster and couple of thousand rupees cheaper than the adventure model.
