The Showroom and Services are good but too costly FI is very difficult to customize service only service is possible at showroom
Riding experience is ok
Top speed 118kmph
Chain sprockets changed once after 15,000km
Tyre changed after 20,000km
High maintenance cost
Spare availability is easy
Main disadvantage if not maintained properly them the bike is trash Regular maintenance must may increase life of bike.

Tips for Yamaha FZ S V 2.0

Regular maintenance only can keep this bike in good working condition or else it's worse.

Brought from authorized yamaha showroom. Riding experience with great engine is much better than other 150cc segments. Looks obviously amazing and mileage is good for a long journey. Comfortable journey with great sitting posture is best to me. The only con to me is it's maintenance cost, if you want smooth performance in 150cc segment. I used my fz-s v.2 for above 3 years around with 21000 km.

Yamaha, we all know, amazing brand with powerful machines which are quiet impressive in every aspect. Yamaha fz v2 is one of the most spectacular model from yamaha. Mine v2 is fz n v2 2 gs8 -dual disk variant. Riding experience is too good, made for daily use, still have a sporty touch. Power of bike is much greater for a usual 150 cc bike. Fz v2 is a combination of family utility bike and sports machine. look of model is quiet impressive. Muscular tank and body attracts youngsters so much. Performance wise, really good experience. Braking is too awesome, quick response in 70- 90 kms/hr. Mileage is too good, offering 40 kms/ltrs in straight roads, great mileage for a sporty look machine. It's a semi track machine in 150 cc fuel injection engine, having 12.80 nm, with 5 gear speed transmission. Wheels are perfect for cornering and suspensions were too good. Experiencing travel fatigueness is too low, so good for touring too . Low cost maintenance is another advantage upon yamaha bikes. For a person seeks for both daily , urban use and for sporty look, fz fi v2 is a perfect option for you.

We are getting a long mileage, only 100 rupees of oil is required to run up to 133km's, it is experienced by me. If telling about the cables, if is happened to change I used to replace it with the original cables itself(not any local cables), Then the back Tyre had run up to 2600km and front Tyre had run up to 2200km's..The only complaint of this vehicle is that it consist of Eside cover (right and left) the silver colour pad, it will break suddenly if we are giving more force on it to remove..Total 5 years this vehicle is with me and I had traveled 3400km's totally by this vehicle..I used to fill petrol from the BHARAT PETROLIUM because it will last for more kilometers. if we are keeping our bike clean then we can protect our bike from iron rusting.also the usage of original materials of the engine it is really benefiting.
In order to cover the mileage perfectly we should only move around the eco we should be careful that 70 or 87 then it will affect the mileage,the mileage will become short.if the mileage becomes short in order to make it proper we have to ride around the eco.
We should avoid riding through the water in order to prevent it from rusting.. The bikes fork,in shock absorber avoid the contact of oil and such liquids in order to protect it from the leakages and also it can cause damage.. The back cover can damage if we are riding through the gutter roads .when we are riding the most important thing is that try to catch the back brake than the front brake because catching the front brake can cause complaint for the wheel , rubber etc... In order to be more comfortable,the bike had got a smooth sound so if the riders are moving the bike in that smooth sound itself it will give the riders more comfort.. The oil change should be done before the 3000km's ,and the tubeless should change when the line in the center of the tyre disappear ,it will give more benefit..

Buying experience: I am using this bike since October 2019. I purchased 2nd hand bike of 2017 model.. It was already used bike(39000 km).Riding experience:When i drive the bike for few km, i can easily hear the sound coming from chain sprocket. Rear tyre was bubbling, lock was damaged, the 1st owner was using duplicate key and when i purchased the bike, it was not in a very good condition. I got the bike serviced at petal yamaha service centre, indore. Few spare parts(rear tyre bush, brake shoe, chain sprocket, handle n fork, lock system, gear box oil, oil filter, air filter, engine oil, indicators, spark pluck) were changed at the time of servicing. They(yamaha authorised service centre) charged me around inr 11000(eleven thousand rupees). After that i never took my bike for servicing as i use to do general servicing at home.Details about looks and performance: as tge tag line of this bike says "lord of st"the bike looks awesome and it is very eye-catching. Bike performance depends on how you drive it how you maintain your bike. My personal experience is awesome with this bike. The bike is very comfortable. Seating position is very comfortable (upright). Engine is very smooth you can touch the speed of 70-80 kmph within few seconds.Servicing and maintenance: Any one can easily maintain this bike. Maintenance cost is not so high. You need to do few things to keep your bike in a good condition.. 1. Regular chain cleaning (open chain sprocket and apply yamahalube chain clean it is a bit costly if you are looking for a cheaper option you can clean it by applying kerosin oil and rub it properly with brush, then properly clean the chain with dry cloth). After cleaning the chain you must apply chain lube. Please do not apply regular oil on chain, otherwise that will damage the chain sprocket. 2. Do not forget to change engine oil and oil filter after every 2000-2500 km. Oil filter is very cheap, it will not cost you more than 20-30 rupees 3. Clean air filter or change the air filter after driving for every 2500 km. Air filter does not cost you more than 200 rs. 4. Apply yamaha carbon cleaner in the fuel for healthy engine and better mileage after every 2500 km. It will cost you around inr rs.160. 5. You don't have to visit mechanic for general maintenance keep your bike clean wash is regularly, don't forget to chain lube your bike after bike wash. Pros: good mileage i am getting mileage of 45kmpl with this 2017 model fz v2.0 which already travelled around 50000 km., smooth riding experience, nice pickup. Can use for long rides, nice suspension, good for off road biking. Cons: front lamp is not so good you might have trouble while driving during nights. Digital instrument cluster could have been better. Charging socket was also required for long rides specially for tours like manali leh and ladakh. Ground clearance is ok but could have been better, bikers can face these issues on the leg ladakh terrain.. Rest is ok. The bike is beast. Truly yamaha "lord of street".
