Ronin looks unique, feels good to sit on, and is great for daily use, though it has small issues like gear shifting or service quality. Overall, it’s a practical and value-for-money bike for everyday riding. The mileage is not a lot as my bike barely gives 30 kmpl. The TVS Ronin has a unique and eye-catching design that easily stands out on the road, mixing a retro look with modern elements, which gives it a cool and different personality compared to regular commuter bikes. When you sit on it, the comfort is clear right away because the seat is wide and soft, and the upright riding posture feels natural, so your back and wrists do not get tired even after longer rides. This makes it very suitable for daily use, whether it is going to college, office, or short highway trips. The engine feels smooth and easy to control, which is great for city traffic and relaxed cruising, making the bike beginner friendly as well as comfortable for experienced riders. However, it does have a few small issues, such as slightly rough gear shifting at times and service quality that can depend on the service center, which can be a little frustrating. Another drawback is the mileage, because although the company claims better figures, in real world riding my bike barely gives around 30 kmpl, which feels lower than expected for everyday commuting. Still, despite these minor problems, the Ronin remains a practical, stylish, and value for money bike that offers a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience for daily life.

Its good retro-looking bike and smooth and good exhaust sound. Just got my first service and after a week there is sound from rare suspension.Overall features are good. There is a problem in the rainy season. The front tyre throw lot of water on the shoes and pant and this is so irritating.

TVS Ronin After 32,867 KM — Not Just a Bike, But a Journey PartnerAfter riding my TVS Ronin for over 32,867 kilometers, I can say this bike has been more than just a machine — it has been my travel companion, my daily commuter, and sometimes even my escape from routine life. We’ve been through early morning rides, long highways, heavy rain, broken village roads, traffic chaos, and peaceful sunset cruises. When I bought the Ronin, I was drawn to its unique neo-retro design. Even today, it still turns heads. The styling has aged gracefully, and despite years of use, the bike still looks premium. Of course, there are a few scratches and signs of wear — but to me, those marks feel like badges of adventure, not flaws.Engine & Performance Over TimeThe 225.9cc engine has proven to be reliable and smooth even after crossing 30k+ km. It starts without hesitation, runs consistently, and hasn’t given me any major mechanical trouble. The power delivery is relaxed and refined — perfect for someone who enjoys calm, controlled riding rather than racing. It’s not built for speed thrills, and the missing 6th gear becomes noticeable on highways above 100 km/h. Still, for steady cruising and daily use, it performs confidently.Mileage & Real-World EfficiencyEven after years of riding, mileage remains impressive:City: 38–42 km/lHighway: 42–45 km/lWith a 14-litre fuel tank, I often cover 500+ km on a full tank, which has saved both money and fuel stops on long trips.Comfort & Long-Distance RidingComfort is where the Ronin truly shines. The upright posture, wide handlebars, and well-padded seat make long rides surprisingly manageable. I’ve completed multiple 300–500 km day rides, and while some fatigue is natural, the bike never feels punishing. The suspension handles rough roads well, though the pillion seat isn’t ideal for long journeys.Servicing, Maintenance & ReliabilityI’ve serviced the bike every 5,000–6,000 km. Maintenance has been reasonable and predictable:Regular engine oil changesBrake pads replaced onceChain and sprocket maintenanceTires replaced around 25,000 kmBattery replaced onceNo engine rebuilds or major failuresTVS service centers are widely available, though service quality depends on location. Overall, upkeep costs have stayed affordable.Final ThoughtsAfter 32,867 km, I don’t see the Ronin as just a bike — it feels like a trusted companion that has carried me through experiences, places, and memories. It’s not the fastest, not the most aggressive, but it is comfortable, reliable, fuel-efficient, and emotionally satisfying. If you want a bike that feels easy to live with, dependable over years, and perfect for calm touring and daily riding, the TVS Ronin won’t disappoint.
