- 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400 spied
- Get new touring accessories
- Official launch might take place around Diwali
Just like every year, this year’s festive season looks exciting with a host of new products in the pipeline. One of these offerings might be the new 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400. The upcoming version of the power cruiser was recently spied at what looked like a dealer stockyard. While there aren’t any visible mechanical changes, it was equipped with new touring and safety accessories.
The motorcycle was equipped with a tall windscreen for tackling the wind buffeting during high-speed riding. The existing model has a very short fly screen that does a poor job of deflecting wind. The spotted bike also had a large tail rack for luggage instead of a two-piece grab rail. The rack also comprises a short pillion backrest. Finally, there’s a metal sump guard for protecting the underbelly from damages.
The rest of the components will most likely remain unchanged. It is powered by a 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 39.42bhp of power and 35Nm of peak torque. The six-speed gearbox is accompanied by a slipper clutch. It’s also equipped with impressive features like LED lighting all around, a fully digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a 13-litre fuel tank.
The official launch of the new 2021 Bajaj Dominar 400 might take place sometime around Diwali. At present, it is priced at Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom) and the upcoming model will demand a premium over this pricing.
