Bajaj’s new commuter motorcycle spied again

A couple of days ago, we brought you the exclusive spy pictures of Bajaj’s upcoming commuter motorcycle. And now, we bring you better pictures of this new bike which is expected to be a part of the Pune-based manufacturer’s new motorcycle brand.

These pictures clearly show that Bajaj has taken a slightly different design approach for this bike. While it will compete in the commuter segment, the company has given it a cruiser design. If you look closely, the bike sports a bulbous fuel tank, which is also little longer. In terms of aesthetics, this bike has a similar appearance to the Avenger series – fatter rear tyre, chassis, suspension and rear. The exhaust is new and we haven’t seen something like that coming out of Akurdi R&D facility. While Bajaj’s main intention is to get volumes with this new bike, it also wants to introduce fresh attractive design to the segment.

In terms of performance, we’re expecting this bike to be powered by a revised 150cc engine that will pump out around 15bhp. This mill will be mated to a five-speed gearbox. But as per our source, Bajaj plans to introduce more variants under this new brand in the next couple of months.
