Bajaj Auto has revised the prices for the Platina series and the prices now begin from Rs 51,667 onwards. The Platina 100 Kick Start variant is listed at Rs 51,667. The Platina Electric Start drum and disc brake versions are now available at Rs 59,904 and Rs 62,125, respectively. The Platina 110 H-Gear, which is available in a single variant, has been priced at Rs 63,475.
The price hike brings a styling upgrade to the Platina 100 series in the form of knuckleguards. In contrast, the Platina 110 H-Gear does not get any styling changes. The mechanical specifications, on the other hand, remain unchanged. Thus, the Platina 100 continues to use a 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 7.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.3Nm at 5,500rpm. The Platina 110 uses an 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.4bhp at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5,000rpm.
The drum brake version of the Platina 100 uses a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm drum at the back. The disc variant comes with a 240mm rotor at the front and a 110mm drum at the rear. The Platina 110 H-Gear, which is available in a single variant, uses 240mm disc at the front and a 110mm drum at the back.
