Aprilia SR150 Race enhancements will fit regular SR150

Aprilia has launched a more focused version of its SR150 scooter called the SR150 Race. Apart from the new paint and decals that mirror Aprilia's MotoGP motorcycles, the Race also gets a revised CVT. Piaggio is developing some 'go-faster' parts for the SR150 Race as well, which should be available as accessories in a few weeks time. These include a rejetted carburettor and a new exhaust.

The good news for existing SR150 customers is that the latter two enhancements can also be retrofitted to the older scooter. The SR150 is already decently quick but for those who want more pep these accessories will be available off the shelf at all Aprilia showrooms. Piaggio hasn't said how much these parts will cost but given that affordability seems to be the focus around the SR range, expect reasonable pricing for the same.
