Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6: Top 5 Highlights

The premium variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6 has been launched in the Indian market. The new version of the entry-level Pulsar motorcycle features several styling upgrades over the standard model. Here we list the top five highlights of the new Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6.

Design

The Pulsar 125 Split Seat packs several styling upgrades over the standard Pulsar 125. The premium version, as its name suggests, comes equipped with a split-seat setup instead of a single-piece unit on the standard Pulsar 125. The Split Seat edition also gets split grab rails and an engine cowl that gives it a sportier look than the base model.

Colours

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat BS6 is available in three colour choices – Neon Green with Matte Black, Black Silver, and Black Red.

Engine

The changes are limited to cosmetic upgrades, and the mechanical specifications are identical on both motorcycles. The Pulsar 125 range uses a 124.4cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 11.6bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed transmission.

Hardware

The hardware on the split-seat model, too, is similar to the standard motorcycle. Thus, the suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin, gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. Anchoring power comes from a disc at the front and drum at the rear while the safety net includes a combined braking system as standard.

Price

The Bajaj Pulsar Split Seat BS6 is priced at Rs 79,091. In comparison, the disc brake version of the standard Pulsar 125 BS6 is available for Rs 75,462.
