Bajaj Pulsar 180 spotted with ABS

- Gets single-channel ABS unit.

- No other mechanical or cosmetic changes.

- Expected to arrive sometime this month with a slight price hike.

The Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been spotted bearing a single-channel ABS unit.

Apart from the safety feature, the bike remains unchanged; bith mechanically and cosmetically. It continues with its conservative yet slighty edgy bodywork. The Pulsar 180 ABS will also retain the distinctive headlamp, split seat setup and split tail lamp. Powering the bike is a 178cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 17bhp and 14Nm of torque. 

We expect the motorcycle to be launched sometime soon before the ABS mandate kicks-in in April. This version is also likely to cost a premium of around Rs 10,000 from the standard bike which costs Rs 84,243 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Pulsar 180 ABS will directly compete against the Apache RTR 180 ABS and the upcoming Yamaha FZ V3.0.
