2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 available in seven colours in India

- Prices start from Rs. 3,03,000

- Black Ray and Barcelona Blue get alloy wheels

- Mark 2 carries the highest price tag

Royal Enfield has announced the launch of the 2023 Interceptor 650 in the Indian market. The 2023 iteration of the motorcycle gets new colours with select variants benefiting from tubeless tyre-compatible alloy wheels. The colour options now comprise seven options – Mark 2, Canyon Red, Sunset Strip, Black Ray, Barcelona Blue, Blackpearl, and Cali Green. The colourways affect the ex-showroom prices of the motorcycle.

The Canyon Red and Cali Green paint themes are the most affordable options on the list, while the Mark 2 carries the highest price tag. Do note that the newly launched Black Ray and Barcelona Blue feature a blacked-out finish to the engine and the exhaust pipes. These two paint options also benefit from alloy wheels that are shod in tubeless tyres. On the other hand, the rest of the colourways come with wire-spoke wheels.

Apart from adding new colourways, Royal Enfield has also tweaked the saddle for enhanced comfort, new switchgear, a USB charging port, and an all-new LED headlamp. Meanwhile, the safety net, similar to the previous model, includes dual-channel ABS. The mechanical specifications remain unchanged as well, and the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 retains the 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this engine is tuned to deliver 47bhp at 7,150rpm and 52Nm at 5,250rpm.
