- All-new Nightster Special breaks cover
- Gets major updates over standard model
- No word about its Indian launch yet
Harley-Davidson has taken the wraps off its 2023 motorcycle line-up. While the range includes updates to various models, it also consists of the all-new Nightster Special.
Based on the standard Nightster, the Special version, as its name suggests takes things up a notch. The most significant change is to the styling which now includes a headlamp cowl and new decals to set it apart. Adding to that the badging is also different and harks back to the Sportster models of the ‘70s. The Special also comes with a pillion seat mounted on the mudguard. Harley-Davidson has also tweaked the ergonomics on the motorcycle by fitting handlebar risers and positioning it closer to the rider.
The Nightster Special also benefits from a TFT display that can be connected to a smartphone and Bluetooth headset. It also gets cruise control and a USB port while the traction control system and ABS remain unchanged as the stock Nightster. Furthermore, the new Nightster Special rides on 14-inch spoke wheels instead of the seven-spoke units. The rims are fitted with a tyre-pressure monitoring system too. With everything said, the Special continues to come powered by the same Revolution Max 975T engine as the standard model.
While the motorcycle will be available in international markets soon, there is no confirmation about its Indian launch since the company has not brought in any of its previous Special models here.
