Triumph Motorcycles India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the 2020 Street Triple R, the mid-spec variant of the Street Triple naked roadster series. At Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new Street Triple R is placed in a lower price bracket than the flagship model, the Street Triple RS. Here we list the alternatives that buyers can consider.

KTM 790 Duke (Rs 8.63 lakh – BS4)

KTM’s highest displacement motorcycle in the Indian market, the 790 Duke is yet to receive the BS6 upgrade, although the updated model should arrive soon. The BS4 model was offered at Rs 8.63 lakh and the BS6 version will most likely carry a marginal premium over its predecessor. The feature list comprises of full-LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrument cluster, ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, launch control and wheelie control as standard. The BS4-compliant 799cc, parallel-twin motor produced 105bhp of power and 86Nm of torque, and the BS6 model should deliver similar numbers.

The Iron 883 belongs to the company’s Sportster family and it is available at Rs 9.38 lakh.
