Jawa 42 Bobber Price in Purulia

As a student navigating the busy streets of Kolkata, here’s my take after a few months with my Jawa 42 Bobber. Let’s be honest, the main reason I bought this bike is how it looks; the factory-custom aesthetic with the floating single seat and round LED light turns heads everywhere in a city full of Royal Enfields. The 334cc engine is a gem—punchy and with enough power to dart through traffic—and the smooth 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch are lifesavers in rush hour. However, the compromise starts with comfort: the suspension is incredibly stiff, and I feel every bump on Kolkata’s legendary broken roads, making long commutes a literal pain in the back. Practicality is also minimal; with zero luggage capacity and the inherent single-seat design, it’s a bike for solo fun, not grocery runs or giving friends a lift. I get around 28-30 kmpl, which is acceptable, and features like the dual-channel ABS and USB chargers are nice touches. Service experience has been hit-or-miss, with spare parts sometimes hard to find. The on-road price around ₹2.32 lakh was a stretch, and the bike ultimately demands a choice: you either choose style, character, and the thrill of owning something unique over comfort and convenience. I love it for the attention and the fun weekend rides, but for the daily grind, it demands sacrifice; it's definitely a bike for the heart, not the head

What a waste. Worst bike to buy with your hard-earned money. The only thing I love about it is its pickup. Worst shock absorbers. The jerk directly goes to the spine. With too much vibration, you cannot see clearly in your rearview mirror. Both bolts of the gear pedal assembly broke in the middle of the road while riding. The service center closed within 3 months of selling the bike. came with only the rider's seat and spoke wheels. So if you have plans to buy with a pillion seat and alloy wheels, then you have to pay for a single seat with spoke wheels first. then you have to purchase the pillion seat and alloy wheels separately. fitting charges extra. most of the time battery warning light is red, and some times engine check light comes and goes. And on the top, you will hit every bumper on the road.

This is the most affordable and good-looking cruiser in the segment. It gives the best mileage and its riding posture is awesome. Its exhaust sound is unbelievable. A dual silencer feels so soothing. The vibration of this bike is very low compared with other bikes. The price of this bike is a little bit higher in comparison with others.
