Honda unicorn the king of 150-160 segment...

After a longtime research about all the 150cc segment,finally i am determined to buy honda-unicorn, yes the king of comfort, sophistical design and aggressive masculine look...Everyday i commute 100km, but amazing to say that there is no back pain, the path of my journey just became a bed of comfort with its linear and smooth engine performance, monoshock really make its a unicorn and the abs from bosch just make its safe and skid free riding ... Pros:- 1. Butter smooth engine 2. Monoshock , no back pain 3. Simple but elegant look 4.Better mileage 5. Low maintenance cost. Cons:- 1.The light equality must to be improve, during night on highways, it creates some deem effect 2. Mono suspension easily get mud during the rainy season, so its must be covered from tyre with any rubber pad.

Tips for Honda Unicorn

Just use the original Honda Engine oil , and just refill within every 1800 km.

Then the sound becomes normal, and the ride becomes smooth. This is little dangerous also. Rest everything is good. One can use the bike for a very long time without problems if maintained properly.

I bought this bike in Eluru. Riding experience is good. Still though I have some problem in the BS6 variant. I'm facing problem with clutch and gear. Gears won't down. They get stuck. I have to loose clutch and then down the gear. In the meanwhile gear box makes a big round of sound. Which is really inconvenient. In this price range of nearly one lakh and twenty thousand, the looks seem very dull. Same old speedometer and some things like that. Still though it has some improvements compared to previous models. When it comes to servicing I am not at all satisfied. Reduced performance. Same old looks. Riding experience is good( except for the clutch and gear box) Less pickup. Good mileage. Weak headlight. Unicorn bikes are known for good engine but I am not satisfied with the engine.
