Hero Splendor Plus vs Honda Livo

The Honda Livo was recently launched as a spiritual successor to the CB Twister. Sold alongside the Dream series of 110cc commuter bikes, the Livo is the most expensive small-capacity commuter in the Japanese manufacturer’s line-up. While the Twister was one of the most stylish 110cc commuter motorcycles in the Indian market, it failed to capture the buyers’ imagination. Honda has attempted to overcome this defeat by taking a toned down approach towards styling, which despite being less flamboyant than the CB Twister, makes the Livo look like a true blue-blooded steed.  

To find out if the Radeon BS6 feels any different from the BS4 model, we spent some time with the Radeon BS6, riding it in the city and out on the highway.

We have had the TVS Radeon in our long-term fleet for quite a while now; 3200kms to be specific. Majority of these miles came from riding where the Radeon feels the most at home; the infamous traffic of Mumbai.  And since a highway report was due and my lungs craved for fresher air, I decided to go on a 400km round intercity ride. 

The TVS Radeon joined our long-term fleet and I was eager to commute to work on the motorcycle and also take it out to run errands. Here’s my impression of the Radeon after riding a few hundred kilometres in and around the city.
