1 buying experience

I was always a ktm fanboy, rc series had got my mind and soul but due to price point i had to wait for something else to be in my obsession, here comes the launch need of the ns200 ... Called up bajaj showroom near my place, the person on the call was so polite and humble that he immediately said me sir as soon as the bike comes i'll give you a call. That was it my moment of decision was made:) i wanted a 200cc bike for myself and being bajaj i had all the trust and everything. Person assigned ns sales was a young guy like me, knew what to talk and what not, he literally opened all the features and cards of the bike, i enquired about all the financial details and made my booking after 2-3 days ?? because i was confused which color to go for

2 riding experience

Like i said the showroom person was very polite and a really good person too, he gave me the test ride red color bike, was humble to give me a longer test ride:) to make me sure about my decision over duke, of course i didn't had the money to buy duke. But he didn't know about it. Coming to the bike and it's dynamics, bajaj surely knows Indian customers damn well and ns is just an example of that. Relaunching it was a dream come true for me because you get naked style, not go heated up engine, the best technology, ns although the seat is a bit tall but handles very smooth in city traffic and in highways the bike above 5k rpm completely goes maniac and insane, for starting it's a slow and calm down bike, but above 5k rpm it's something else give you wide grins :) i love the stability this bike has because it's a little on the heavier side. Always stays calm and composed on the road does feel like it's wobbling. The bike offers enough speed and linear power enough for a college going student and even new married person and for India and it's road it's best offering, the mono suspensions is stiff and only thing i feel could be better :( on this bike

3 looks and performance

This bike definitely looks best when compared to its competition, the transformer looks and signature pulsar led stop light, damn i love the looks from every angle of the bike. Every other bike offers 140 section rear tyre, while ns has 130 .. Although i feel the bigger the tyre the better the attention on road but 130 does it's job pretty neat and I've got no complaints. Performance of the bike is again is very impressive as i ride mostly in city and the bike behaves cool calm composed but when you need to overtake anyone anywhere it's just a play of twisting the throttle on this bike, the exhaust too is bassy and gives a feel of big bike.. Rpm limit is not there on this bike like on dukes, so call it a advantage or disadvantage but for me its a plus point, but i don't mean that i race everywhere.

4 service

Being bajaj make, the spares are cheap and even available at any local mechanic shop. Not so hi-fi tech makes it understandable to even common person like me, i clean and lube the chain and sprocket myself.. Bajaj people call you when your bike is due for it's service, also bike has a service indicators set with in the speedometer again kudos to bajaj and team, this bike doesn't cost you pocket holes to maintain, just regularly periodic service and proper chain lubing and cleaning that's it... The bike will love you every single time you sit and ride it, if one does follow only this

5 pro and con

Pro - naked style

Liquid cool

Dual petal disc

Not so aggressive engine

Service reminder/side stand indicators

Bike comes with centre stand factory fitted

Bike is not on so lighter side, bit on bulk weight but that's adds to highway stability and speed riding

Digital analogue display

Has colors to choose from

No rpm limit

Has custom made saddle bags available particularly for this bike (viaterrawolf)

Bajaj offers weekend rides and has particular group of ns riders

Perimeter frame

Easy to maintain as it is not so advanced

This is vfm in every way compared to its competition

Cons

No abs

No fi

Fiber tank

Clutch and brake levers are a bit far from normal reach

Petrol inside the petrol tank shakes when stop bike in signal

Stiff rear mono suspension

No led indicators (cmon this is a 1lakh+ bike)

Still comes with eurogrip tyres

Tips for Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Just give your bike for regular service period as mentioned by the dealer or company, clean the chain and keep it lubed and like they say a man knows how to treat his girl, and a biker knows how to care for his machine..

Looks stunning and the handling of the bike looks cool. I was hesitant to move ahead with this one initially but after a long research, I chose to move ahead with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. So good thing is it fits in your budget and doesn't empty your pockets. people can blindly move ahead with this bike and be satisfied.

  • Pulsar NS200 - THE BEAST🔥🥵

    Pratik

Hey friends, I am going to give you a detailed review about my NS200.
I own a 2023 model cocktail wine red colour and not the Bluetooth meter model of 2024...So let's begin the review.
My review will be based on the following points covering all the aspects you need to know.
1.Why I chose NS200 - First of all, NS200 is my first bike.I wanted a naked sports bike with good power, reasonable mileage and good looks. So I searched for sports bikes on Google & immediately NS200 caught my attention.I liked the looks of bike and then saw that it is a bike of Pulsar series then I was overjoyed because I have been a big fan of Pulsars since childhood. Then I saw videos of NS200 on YouTube & read ownership reviews & did a lot of research. So later I decided that NS200 will be my first ride.
2.Buying Experience - My buying experience was pretty good as the showroom staff was very supportive and nice.
3.First ride impressions -First of all,I never rode a bike more than 125cc, so it was always going to be a thrilling experience to ride a 200cc bike and I was very excited. When I first sat on the bike it gave me a big bike feel as the tank size is pretty big. When I started riding it I felt the power which is the main character of NS.The ride was smooth and very satisfying.
4.Design & Styling - The styling of the bike is a proper naked sports look.It has perimeter frame which add to its handling & looks. The design of the bike is impressive and eye-catching.
    5. Suspension - The suspension of the bike is a bit on a stiffer side.Front suspension is on a softer side while the rear suspension is quite hard and stiff.
6.Seating position - The front seat is softer while the rear seat is a bit stiffer.Seating position of rider is quite aggressive as your weight is little forward but comfortable. It feels that we are riding a sports bike.
7.Ground clearance - The bike offers a good ground clearance of 168mm which is sufficient. As the exhaust is underbelly it sometimes touches on a big speed breaker when you are riding with a pillion. But overall, ground clearance is not a issue.
8.Engine Characteristics - The NS200 is known for its performance and a powerful engine.I believe the engine is the part where NS outshines other rival bikes. The engine feels very lively and there are almost no vibrations which was the case in previous models. The power delivery of the bike is very smooth. Whenever you ride the bike and give throttle it brings smile on your face.Low-end torque is good while the mid-range & top end is just insane. The bike loves to be in higher rev band. The engine is high reving. If you love high reving then NS is for you.
9.Braking - The braking performance is the thing which impressed me the most. The Bajaj has provided the bike with surreal braking.ABS kicks in and overall bite and response is great.
10.Exhaust Sound - I love the exhaust sound of NS200.It is quite loud and boomy type. The exhaust sound is a head-turner.People will notice you and look at your bike and you will get a lot of public reactions.
11.Conclusion - You can go for NS200 if you love high-revving and power. But I will not recommend it to beginners as it has some power which can be dangerous and uncontrollable. But experienced riders can buy it and you will not regret a bit.

I'm a student...just need a bike to transport to my college, unfortunately can't afford it.
In addition yes, I have tried my friend's NS200 so I reviewed it, and to be honest every penny is worth that bike...really, the balance is so crazy, true performance with a good mileage and a distinctive style...something that middle-class guy can afford. That is a really good creation by Bajaj...
I'd say as per me if I have a choice to choose between nd 200 and 400. Id still go for the godly NS200.

The bike has a strong stance due to the bold and modern edgy design which features muscular body lines and a sharp tail. Its 199.5cc, single-piece, liquid-cooled engine that puts out 24.5 bhp of power and 18.5 Nm of torque is great for beginners and experienced riders alike. I bought one in Feb 2021. I wasn't a fan of BAJAJ, but I wanted a performance motorcycle at 1.5 lakh Rupees. My friends have KTM Duke, FZ 250, RE Thunderbird, Classic 350, etc. But, something or the other was missing in them. Duke is expensive, FZ 250 is outdated, Thunderbird was vibey and Classic is overpriced. I was left with 2 options. Either NS or Apache. By comparing the specs and the ride height, I chose NS because I'm a tall guy and the bike felt like an SUV. There are some panel gaps, the tank cap isn't well finished, the bike is not U-turn friendly and I have seen cars with lower turning radius. Just kidding But, you forget these niggles the moment you open the throttle. It's a monster post 6k RPM. When the other bikes fade out at high RPMs, this bike tends to go even faster. People complain about the refinement, but I like the way it sounds. It's very raw and has a lot of character. It's braking is class leading and this bike is best suited for moto enthusiasts. Coming to the mileage, you can expect around 35 kmpl in cities and 40 in highways. I'm fully satisfied with the bike. Go for it if you love high revs and high speeds.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is a budget-friendly sports bike known for its great features and performance. Smooth shifting is assured through the 6-speed gearbox during acceleration as well.
