It is a very good bike with luxurious comfort and mileage with in the less price ,also good looking style and high performance engine . Maintenance is not high and the service centers are available nearer. Colour editions are very nice and for going long drives this is the best .Average height of a person can also drive the bike very comfortably.

Bajaj Avenger Street 220 Review.

It's an amazing bike for both city commute and highway rides. Very comfortable riding positions. Looks are amazing, especially for street models. I was initially confused it with harley. Pros: 1) value for money 2) very comfortable seats 3) riding position 4) low maintenance 5) mileage around 38-42 km/l on highway Cons:1) headlights are very bad for night highway ride 2) suspension is on the softer side. You will feel bumps. 3) vibrations for speeds in 3 digits (above 100).

Riding experience of avenger 220

Riding experience is very great ,i always love to go on long rides i got best experience from my avenger 220 ,and the service cost is also affordable.As i am going goa every year by bike from past 4 years .I am getting best mileage as compared to other 220cc bike .I an getting city mileage of 37 and 46 on highway.

Use tubeless tyres and change rear break pad on every serving, change oil after every 3000 to 3700km.

Best cruise riding experience !

I purchased the avenger street 220 in 2018 and since then i am in totally love with it. I have made long rides to daman , bhandardara and lonavala on this bike. The bike riding experience is comfortable and the seat is well cushioned. To be honest i bought this bike as it had cruise riding experience similar to harley. The bike looks classy ,modern matte finish and performs well in terms of pickup and acceleration and gives the rider a studded look. Also if used in proper manner this bike requires less servicing i myself service 2-3 per year for some consumables changes.Pros :1) modern sleek design 2) matte color options 3) smooth riding experience 4) comfortable leather seat for 2 riders 5) control and gear shifting is efficient. 6) large fuel tank. Cons:1) mileage (45 kmpl. I refill twice in a month.)2) side signal have rubber handles and are very delicate. ( i broke backside right signal in first year itself)3) not suitable for rider with more than average height as that may cause backache for some. 4) bike lacks kick start option which causes problem when battery is down.5) battery drains too quickly than expected.

Service once in every 4 months and wash as and when possible. Change oil and other consumables as per instructed by the mechanic.

I gifted myself avy220 back in 2016. Of-course it's in red colour as it's my favorite. Look wise, this bike would always make you turn your head for once. Superb stance and very posh looks. Red is steaming hot on this. Now let's talk about the ride quality. Front seat comfort is great but the pillion may feel a bit discomfort on longer rides. Need some good broad seats at the back. 220cc engine has just enough power to go for a sharp take over as well as glide through over 100kph comfortably on highways. Gone over 150km in a single stretch and the performance is phenomenal. A full tank can give you over 500km giving a good mileage of 35-40kph overall. Covered almost all the maharashtra and bangalore on my bike in 4 years clocking it over 16000kms. Bike still looks new after a wash and regular chrome touch-up. Service cost is very less as compared to the other bikes in the similar category. Now let's talk about the down side of this bike. The material used in wires and the outer coating is of average quality. Handling is fine but breaking is poor. Need more powerful breaks at the rear with disc out of the box. It would be great if they provide dual disc with abs doesn't matter increasing the price a little bit. Overall it's a great package of looks, speed and riding quality. If you have a tight budget or looking to go out and modify your bike, this one has something great to offer. I wish bajaj bring the avenger in 400cc segment to compete with royal enfield, jawa and benelli.
