I bought the TVS Apache RTR 160 and my overall experience has been very good. The bike looks very sporty and stylish, and it easily attracts attention on the road. The engine performance is strong and the pickup is quick, which makes riding in the city as well as on highways very enjoyable. The mileage is also decent. I usually get around 40-45 kmpl when riding smoothly. The seat is comfortable and the riding position is good, so even long rides do not feel very tiring. Overall, the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a great bike for people who want power, style, and good performance together. I am very happy with this bike and would definitely recommend it to others.

TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Racing Edition has long been a staple for riders who want that "racing DNA" without breaking the bank. The Racing Edition ups the ante with sharper aesthetics, but does the performance match the look? Here is a breakdown based on real-world riding experience.Pros:- * Punched-out Performance: The "Racing Edition" isn't just a badge. The pickup is punchy, making it a blast to flick through city traffic. * Highway Manners: It holds its own on the open road. The top-end speed is respectable for a 160cc, and it doesn't feel strained at cruising speeds. * The Overtaking "X-Factor": Overtaking feels awesome. Thanks to the low-to-mid range torque, you can zip past slower vehicles without needing to constantly downshift. * Solid Stopping Power: Even when you’re pushing the limits, the braking at high speeds feels progressive and reliable, giving you the confidence to ride hard. * Fuel Efficiency: Surprisingly, the bike manages to deliver excellent mileage on the highway, proving that "racing" doesn't always have to mean "gas-guzzler." It Provides 42 - 48 on Highways and 37-42 on street roads or off-road The Low Notes (Cons) * Stiff Ride: The suspension is notably hard. While this helps with stability during aggressive cornering, you’ll definitely feel every pothole and speed bump in your spine. * Build Quality Quirks: A common gripe is the visor noise that tends to creep in after just 2–3 months of riding. It requires frequent tightening or dampening to stop the buzzing at certain RPMs. * Service Network Gaps: While TVS is huge, the service quality in rural areas remains a gamble. Finding a technician who understands the nuances of the RTR's FI system can be a challenge outside of major cities. The VerdictThe Apache RTR 160 2V Racing Edition is a "mechanical" bike—it’s loud, fast, and raw. It’s perfect for the rider who prioritizes thrill and agility over a plush, cloud-like ride. If you live in an area with decent service centers and smooth tarmac, it's hard to beat this value. However, if your daily commute involves broken rural roads, that stiff suspension might be a deal breaker. Service Cost after Free Service is under 2k every 4-6 Months With daily Commuting of 50-60 KMOverall Rating: 4 / 5
