• Performance & Ride Quality
The scooter feels light, quick and very easy to handle in city traffic. The hybrid power assist gives a smooth pickup, especially useful on inclines and when riding with a pillion.
• Mileage
After the 3rd service, I consistently get around 52 kmpl in mixed city traffic. This is a realistic number — not too high, not too low — and stable over long-term use.
• Tyres & Grip
The stock tyres are surprisingly good. Grip on dry roads is excellent and handling feels confident. Even during sudden braking, there is no skidding issue.
• Comfort & Practicality
The scooter is lightweight, so taking U-turns and parking is super easy. Under-seat storage is decent for daily needs. Suspension feels firm but stable.
• Looks & Design
Looks are one of the major highlights. The top variant has a sporty, sharp, modern design that stands out. The colour options and graphics give it a premium appearance. The new digital console and features like Answer Back + Y-Connect add to the modern feel.

I’ve been using my Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally for daily commuting and I’m really happy with it. The scooter is lightweight, sporty, and has great pickup for city traffic. Mileage is decent and the braking feels safe and confident. The design definitely turns heads. Only downside is the slightly stiff suspension on rough roads. Overall, a great scooter for young riders and city use!
