Reasonable cost and low maintenance.It gives good mileage and good pickup. And it gives good performance but i am not satisfied with brakes . The brake performance is not good compare to other 150 vehicles. And ground clearance is not good. But i traveled almost 30kms with my bike till now i didn't get any trouble.

Mileage is about 40 km/l , overall performance is good than hornet and other. Suspension is good,brakes are good ,design is better but black colour in green segment model is off.light and riding comfort is very good.seat are split doesn't use for three person because rider have dis-comfortable feeling. yamaha is good for this reasons .

Good but not good in mileage

I buy fz16 in 2011, it's a very good bike. But mileage of this bike is 35 to 40 kmpl . It's a very bad, when yamaha sales department said it's give 50 to 55 kmpl mileage. It's only for the yamaha and sports bike lovers...& only for the youngsters, college students. It's look is superb compare to other bikes...

a powerful bike with good mileage

1.Bought this on Sep of 20172.Very good for urban areas. 3.It looks good but not better than version one->very smooth engine->smooth gear shifting. 4.Low maintenance cost (about 550 rupees in free servicing)5.Pros- very good engine performance, mileage about 55 kmpl. Cons-bad ground clearance, less pick up,starting problem when the engine is cold.

Salesman cheated me on mileage

I have been using yamaha bikes since 2012 and yamaha has always been my favourite...But last time in 2015 i bought yamaha fz v.2 and when i asked the salesman about the mileage he replied 50 kmpl in city and 55kmpl on highways but after using this bike for daily commute i got to know that the mileage is 35 kmpl in city and 40kmpl on highways...After several services at yamaha service center it is been 2 yrs i never got that mileage of 50kmpl -55kmpl as what the salesman challenged to me.
