1. Buying the bike
I had multiple bikes in mind before buying the apache 180, i was looking for power, comfort, mileage and top speed. The apache 180 comes with all of that , but you can compromise mileage when your looking for power/top speed. I love the design and i love the fact that its older sibling that came out ages ago are still being sold. This shows how reliable and long lasting the apache series is.
2. Riding experience
I cover a lot of distance everyday, and i go through all sorts of roads and traffic situations, the apache has never given up on me, and it will live through any condition you put it through.
3. Looks,performance.
I love the look of the latest apache 180. Especially those drl's, gives it a mean look, the color schemes are really good. I love the racing blue color, it stands out in the crowd, everywhere you look, the common bike colors are white, black and rainbow. The blue color is eye catching and i have notice many people look at my bike even while waiting in traffic.
The performance is best, the low end torque output is everything you need to make a perfect getaway when that traffic light turns green. The focus of torque on this bike is the reason why its there on the race tracks in India.
4. Service and maintenance
Servicing this bike is cheap, on average it cost about 300-400 rs during the free service period. Although the service centre will bomb you with a bill of 2000rs and above just when you reach the paid service scheme. Later its tones down to an average of 500 to 600 rs.
Maintaining this bike is easy, not complicated at all. The tricky part it the rear of the bike, near the chain . But otherwise, its easy to maintain .
5. Pros :
A) initial torque
B) breaks
C) fuel economy
D) weight
E) very nimble to ride
Cons :
A) tyres (skids on wet surface and on gravel.)
B) vibrations
C) no gear indicator
D) clutch
Tips for TVS Apache RTR 180 [2018-2019]
Lubricate the chain every 500km. Change tyres after 25000kms depends on way of usage

This is a good bike for daily commute. If i talk to about its mileage and comfort then it's ok not satisfactory. But it's handling and performance on highway and city is excellent. It's build quality and road presence (before 2017) was quite good. Arai certified mileage is 45km/l but gives me only 30km/.

I don't think any bike in this section comes even close when it comes to pick up. Simply love everything about it. The maintenance costs are reasonable, and it is easy to find dealership. Apache 180 is the best bike in its price range. Low end performance of the bike is unbelievable it can compete with duke 200 in traffic and drag race. The bike has some vibrations after long usage. Handling and braking are excellent, it can go quickly through traffic. I had ridden this beast for 35k km change the chain sprocket 2 times, the rear tyre once and oil filter. 1.Need to wait 5 days for the bike after booking in pune.2.Good handling, gearbox can be better, power is good, no heating issues in traffic, highway you can cruise on 85 to 95 easily.3. Looks can be better light throw is not that good it is very problematic to do night ride in unknown road.4. Service is good as tvs is local. Parts are available.

Actually the bike is belong to my brother but for 3 years i am using this bike as my brother was shifted in bangalore. The riding experience is very comfortable and looks of this bike are completely awesome and a very powerful bike.Service cost is very affordable and it consume very less maintenance. Top speed is approx 133km/h. I highly recommend you to buy this bike if you have any budget range. I called my bike as *beast* and i suggest you to always give your bike a name to completely connect with it.

Good for both city and long rides.
