Amazing experience while riding, it gives too much comfort. Its pickup is amazing. Valuable product, I am so satisfied after buying this Bike. I would prefer everyone to buy this bike. To ride on this bike is such an amazing experience. I love it . if you keep it maintained it will give you a lot of pleasure.

Tips for TVS Apache RTR 160

Initially, when I visited the showroom to buy this bike, the executives didn't tell me the features of the bike properly. Thanks to the Bikewale website. I got better info about the bike here. Then I received a bike after 1 week of booking.
When I took my bike for the first ride, I went for 65 kms in a single stretch. I didn't change the riding modes. I rode it in Urban mode, max speed 60kmphr, until 1st service. Then I was surprised that I got a mileage of 62Kmpl! After the 1st service, I rode it in Sports mode at 70 - 90Kmph. Not bad that I got mileage of 52kmpl. But after the 1st service, bike pick-up has decreased a bit. Then after 2600 Km, I left my bike for 2nd service. After that, I took it for 80-90 km in a single stretch. Riding is smoother in Sports mode than the other 2 modes. But I can experience vibration at of bike handle at above 100Kmph speed. Back pain is common in this!
The look of this bike is crazy. Very aggressive. But the quality of some parts is poor. Front forks & mudguard has to be improved. Overall performance of this bike is Awesome.
Free service costs are a bit high!
    1st service(660km)- 1220 Rs
    2nd service(2000km)- 1275 Rs
This bike is a classic option for middle-class boys. Great mileage. Superb performance. Aggressive look. Budget-friendly.

Its an awesome bike. The comfort of this bike is very good and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has a soft suspension and the mileage easily get around 45 kmpl and the mileage is good but dual channel ABS is missing. It is a powerful bike and is literally a great bike and everything feels good with good fit and finishing.

But yes service on time every 2.5 or 3 months you service this bike from an authorised service centre.

I got my apache rtr 160 cc bike in mar-2012 by paying 72k rupees(yes there was a time). The meter now reads 39, 168 km covered. It has been with me for the past 6 years and is still in very good condition. Previously i had bajaj discover. Please read my experience and views about the bike: Visual appeal:It has decent looks. Back it 2012 it was one of the most sought bikes along with Bajaj Pulsar. I opted for apache because of its proven tracker record. But nowadays there are better-looking bikes are available in the market. Having said that, it doesn’t look that bad too:-) Mileage: usually don’t keep too much tracker of the mileage. But i have observed that it varies from 40 to 45 km/ltr. Not great but not bad too considering it is a 160cc bike. If you are too concerned for the mileage better go for 125 cc bikes. Comfort: Comfort-wise it might not be the best bike. Its neither high on comfort nor the worst either. In the short trips you find it quite ok but you would feel the difference once you drive it for a longer distance. Performance:It is a beast with a powerful battery. Pick-up is nice and breaks are pretty good. The only cons is it vibrates once you increase the speed over 70km/hr. Maintenance: There are bikes like yamaha fz or Bajaj Pulsar which are high-maintenance bikes. As compared to them, TVS Apache’s maintenance won’t cost you too much. Well that’s it from my me i wish you have a wonderful and safe ride! one last word…a request…please wear a helmet for your safety!

    RTR 160 2V RM BT
