Buying experience: was good until I payed the money after which they did not even give me good information about my bike status later when I put pressure with the help of one of my friends who had more knowledge about this I got my vehicle after 14 days ( was promised within 6 days)
Riding experience: amazing overall no problem at all till now, with the vibration after 6k rpm would be little control but other than that no issues
The looks are stunning and the performance till now no doubt is outstanding, the confidence the engine gives during overtakes and highway stretches is just fabulous
Service and maintenance: I have only done first service so about that I would say no issues, had a minor accident where my read footpeg was damaged they charged 350 ruppes just to change one . Washing is just 250 I get it done once a month with chain lube clean
    Pros:
    400 cc in budget
    Quality
    Agility
    Cons:
    Vibration
    Lack of connectivity
    Seat comfort

    1. The buying experience is the best because the dealership is very polite and the attendant is informative and experienced
    2. Riding this bike is easy and simple. The bike feels lightweight while riding
    3. The design of Speed 400 is simply elegant just like the other triumph bikes. Performance is also good for a 400cc motorcycle. The mid-range of the bike is very good
    4. Servicing is similar to other 350cc bikes and oil changes is a bit expensive compared to other 350cc bikes because Triumph is a performance motorcycle. Maintenance is also good and affordable
    5. Pros - • Bike is fun to ride and easy to handle
    • Price and features and quality of the
the material used is top of the notch
Cons-• Bike heats a lot compared to other
    400cc bikes
    • Digital meter is sometimes useless as it
shows the wrong reading and the fuel gauge is
also useless. A tachometer is also useless.

Hey y'all! Figured I'd make a short little post here if at all anyone comes looking for info on the showroom and purchase experience of the Triumph Speed 400.
    Some F.Y.I deets here -
    * Total price is 2,95,870 INR (Dhanbad on-road, inclusive of the 2k booking charge).
    * You need your booking ID receipt, Aadhaar Card and PAN card for the full purchase. That's it.
    * If you plan on taking the bike via EMI, you'll have to pay 9.9% interest. Insurance Provider: IFFCO TOKIO
    * The Sales Rep didn't give a cost breakdown. When I asked him, he just seemed mildly annoyed and literally wrote some figures on a piece of paper lol. I did some snooping around and was able to find the breakdown on a printed sheet (Road tax is 46,553. Registration charges - 1188. Handling charges - 1500. Insurance - 23,632. Ex-showroom bike cost - 2,23,997
    First impressions:
The tank is a lot bigger than what we can perceive via pics/videos and you have to stretch your arms a bit to hold the handlebars.
The instrument cluster is simple and easy to read even when riding.
I'm not so enthusiastic about the bar end mirrors but they do the job well (of providing an excellent rear view)
The bike is supposed to have a 790 mm seat height. Though I was not as flat-footed sitting on it as I had hoped.
The seat is soft and mushy, especially as compared to KTMs. While it feels comfortable at start, I'm not so sure that it will stay comfortable over longer rides.
The bike is 170 kgs and you can feel the weight when riding (especially for me coming from a KTM) but it's pretty flickable in city traffic.
Finally, the engine and power delivery. Though 400 cc and 40 ps but the power delivery felt a bit sluggish and in line with the intended competition for the bike, i.e. the RE Meteor 350 and the Honda H'ness.
I'm sure it will perform better than both these bikes, however I've always been an adrenaline junkie and this bike doesn't produce power in the same aggressive fashion as the KTMs!!
What's essential and not up to one taste:
    Engine refinement (for a single) - 9/10
    Fit and finish - 10/10
    Suspension - 10/10
    Brake - 7/10
    Clutch assist - 8/10
    Electronic aids - 8/10
    Handling - 10/10
Features and Speedo console - 5/10
    Fuel economy - 9/10
    What's up to individual taste:
    Look and design - 10/10
    Accessories and options - 5/10
    Exhaust note (for a single) - 9/10
    Delivery experience - 0/10
    Seat comfort - 8/10

  • Great bike with poor service center experience

    Anupam

Good buying experience, great riding experience, poor service experience. They expect experiential bike owners to come for free service in 45 days. Enfield gives a clean 90 days. The bike power pickup is super but sometimes it stops midway in decent throttle. This a problem even in the test drive bike

    Prakhar Raghuvanshi

Bike performance is good. The engine is powerful. Balancing is great. Fuel performance is low but then it is 400 cc so no complaints. Overall, it is the best bike in this segment. If you are looking for bikes under 3 lakhs then this is the best option. Better than the Royal Enfield 350. Eye-catching looks and you will enjoy riding this.

The Triumph Speed 400 is a marvel on two wheels, blending performance, style, and heritage into a package that's as thrilling to ride as it is stunning to behold. As an avid rider with a penchant for adrenaline-fueled adventures, I recently had the pleasure of putting this beast through its paces, and it left an indelible impression.

    Quality
    Agility
    Cons:
    Vibration

Hey y'all! Figured I'd make a short little post here if at all anyone comes looking for info on the showroom and purchase experience of the Triumph Speed 400.
    Some F.Y.I deets here -

    * If you plan on taking the bike via EMI, you'll have to pay 9.9% interest. Insurance Provider: IFFCO TOKIO
    * The Sales Rep didn't give a cost breakdown. When I asked him, he just seemed mildly annoyed and literally wrote some figures on a piece of paper lol. I did some snooping around and was able to find the breakdown on a printed sheet (Road tax is 46,553. Registration charges - 1188. Handling charges - 1500. Insurance - 23,632.

Maintaining proper fluid levels not only keeps your bike running efficiently but also helps prevent overheating, corrosion, and premature wear of critical components. Make it a habit to inspect these fluids before every ride, especially if you're planning a long journey. Additionally, pay attention to any leaks or unusual fluid consumption, as they could indicate underlying issues that need immediate attention. By keeping your bike properly hydrated, you'll ensure its longevity and reliability, allowing you to enjoy countless miles of trouble-free riding adventures.

    Tips for other riders

Maintaining proper fluid levels not only keeps your bike running efficiently but also helps prevent overheating, corrosion, and premature wear of critical components. Make it a habit to inspect these fluids before every ride, especially if you're planning a long journey. Additionally, pay attention to any leaks or unusual fluid consumption, as they could indicate underlying issues that need immediate attention. By keeping your bike properly hydrated, you'll ensure its longevity and reliability, allowing you to enjoy countless miles of trouble-free riding adventures.

I thought wrong before buying but after buying this my experience was amazing.
The looks were amazing eye-catching looks
Performance was peak in this price 0 to 100 in 6sec in
    my case
The sound is also impressive not that loud but it's good at this price
The mileage we can't expect as high because it's a 400cc engine
You can feel premium sound, and driving experience and most of you'll feel excited riding this
In some cases at higher revs engine vibrates a lot but it's common in this powerful engine

  • Great bike with poor service center experience

Good buying experience, great riding experience, poor service experience. They expect experiential bike owners to come for free service in 45 days. Enfield gives a clean 90 days. The bike power pickup is super but sometimes it stops midway in decent throttle. This a problem even in the test drive bike

  • Great machine

    Prakhar Raghuvanshi

Bike performance is good. The engine is powerful. Balancing is great. Fuel performance is low but then it is 400 cc so no complaints. Overall, it is the best bike in this segment. If you are looking for bikes under 3 lakhs then this is the best option. Better than the Royal Enfield 350. Eye-catching looks and you will enjoy riding this.
