Just a week after rumours surfaced about Hero’s plans to launch four new motorcycles in the next 18 months, design patents of one bike have leaked. The bike seems to have power-cruiser inspired styling, with a muscular tank and rear section. It also gets an instrument cluster similar to the upcoming Xpulse adventure bike.
Piaggio recently launched the updated SXL 150 and VXL150 along with the facelift Aprilia SR150 range. While the SR150 Race and Carbon and both the new Vespas get this feature as standard, it can be retrofitted on the SR150 base version and Vespa 125cc models manufactured after September 1. The system allows owners to locate nearby service centres via GPS. It also allows the user to locate the scooter in a parking area.
Spotted somewhere in the Himalayas, the upgraded Dominar 400 sports inverted front forks and a redesigned, twin outlet exhaust can. The bike is also likely to get a retuned engine to comply with BS-VI emission norms. We are expecting Bajaj to launch the updated Dominar 400 in the next few weeks, just in time for the festive season.
Diwali is equal to a bonanza in the Indian motorcycle market. Along with offers and discounts, manufacturers gear up to launch new products around this time. We list four two-wheelers that you should be looking forward to this festive season.
