Suzuki has launched the limited edition Hayabusa Z in India at Rs 16.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While this limited edition might be Rs 25,000 pricier than the standard version, the Hayabusa Z comes with a 1:48 scale model of the legendary Yoshimura Hayabusa X1, a racing calendar and above everything, a Yoshimura R-77J Carbon End slip-on exhaust for a sweeter soundtrack.
The Yoshimura R-77J carbon exhaust consists of a trapezoidal-shaped sleeve which increases the muffler volume. Its sharp edges give it a brawny appeal while offering a smooth flowing silhouette to blend in with the body. The trapezoidal design not only enhances its aesthetics, but aids the bike’s performance too.
Speaking about the Hayabusa Z, Mr. Atul Gupta, executive VP, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) said, “The Yoshimura Slip–On R-77J Carbon End Exhaust addition to the legendary Hayabusa is a modification that has been on the wish list of Indian biking aficionados for a long time. We are extremely proud to have done this for the Hayabusa, reinforcing our commitment to the valued Indian rider.”
Powered by a 1300cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, the Hayabusa is one of the fastest accelerating production motorcycles on the planet. The limited edition Hayabusa Z will be available in two paint schemes - pearl vigor blue/metallic mystic silver and pearl bracing white/metallic mystic silver. It competes with other sports touring motorcycles like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R and the Honda VFR1200F.
