Honda CBR250RR Special Edition revealed

Honda has launched the special edition of the CBR250RR at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The motorcycle gets new graphics on the fairing and fuel tank. The special edition’s black paintjob sports white highlights on the pillion seat cowl and wheels along with a red trellis frame.

This special edition is called ‘Art of Kabuki’ (Japanese dance-drama) edition because it reflects the era of the Samurai in it graphics. The heart of the special edition CBR250RR remains the same. It uses a 250cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that produces 38.2bhp at 12,500rpm and 23.3Nm of torque at 11,000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission and a final chain drive. The CBR250RR also gets three ride modes to choose from.

The ‘Art of Kabuki’ edition is priced at Rp 70,825,000 (Rs 3.40 lakh). Although it runs a potent engine and a sharper design than the CBR250 that was sold in here, we don’t expect to see the CBR250RR arriving at Indian shores anytime soon.
