Huge discounts on Bajaj’s BS-3 models

There is a big hubub going on at Bajaj dealerships as franchise owners rush to clear the old BS-3 stocks by the end of the day, today. Despite being the first manufacturer to update its entire line-up with BS-IV compliant engines, there are many, many BS-III models in stock with Bajaj’s dealers. 

The Pune-based manufacturer is offering Rs 12,000 flat discount on the Pulsar RS200. In fact, the buyer will also get free insurance with the Pulsar RS200, which makes the total savings to a round figure of Rs 14,000. One of their most successful models – the V15 – also gets free insurance apart from Rs 5000 cash discount. The dealers are selling the Avenger 150 and the Avenger 220 with a cash discount of Rs 7000 and free insurance. Bajaj’s volume makers – the Platina, Discover and the CT100 – all are being sold with discounts up to Rs 5000. Free insurances is also applicable to these models. 

These offers are valid only till March 31, 2017, which is today. No BS-III two-wheelers will be allowed to be sold and registered across the country from April 1, 2017, thanks to the ruling from Supreme Court. Bajaj has been marketing these offers on social media as well, but there’s no guarantee that you will get the bike you want. That depends on the kind of stocks the dealers have in their stockyard.
