Rtr 200 chain issue

Rtr 200 is a very good bike. But I had noise in chain from the second day. When I went to service centre they told it's common in this bike. Every time i went to service centre they clean it lube and hand over the bike. After 200 km run the same noise is there.

Reliable bike for city and occasional touring

Better when compared to rtr2004vSmooth engine and less vibration at higher rpmSharp looks, tremendous acceleration, and excellent performance in drag races against rtr and gixxer 250. The instrument cluster is very decent and subjective to individuals. Yamaha engines are long-lasting and reliable. The air-cooled system is the only disadvantage about fz25.

Use motul engine to feel the real thrill. Lubricate chain once in 500km.

Love at first sight

Had a very bad experience with the authorized dealer for converting fz 25 to fz s 25 without any information and the vehicle got insured, forced to reject the converted vehicle and made complaint to yamaha customer service.. But no use. Since I had a personal connection in the plant got it connected and sorted out the issue.Last 30 years have been using 2 wheelers, driving suzuki, Honda, hero, tvs and now yamaha. Among all the vehicles found yamaha to be awesome, sporty and love at first sight. Coming into the vehicle yamaha has high maneuverability, rocking, stylish and nice pick up and good choice for powerful city rides. For long drives it just misses 6th gear. Yamaha should act immediately to be the clear leader in this segment.
