The new Jawa 42 FJ All Stars in India is the latest iteration in the Jawa 42 FJ lineup.
The design, to begin with, has a modern retro theme. This is evident from the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with the brushed aluminium inserts. The fenders are also quite neatly styled with the characteristic Jawa taillight protruding from the rear fender.
Other bits about the design, like the blacked-out engine and upswept exhaust pipes, add to the sporty elements of the bike.
The bike is available in the following colours - Aurora Green Matter, Mystique Copper, Cosmo Blue Matte, Deep Black/ Matte Black Clad, and Deep Black/Matte Red Clad
In terms of features, the bike gets LED lights, USB charger, and a single-pod, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by a 334cc, 'Katar' single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 29bhp and 29.62Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The bike employs a steel chassis that is suspended by a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm disc brake at the front and a disc brake at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
