The seat is surprisingly comfortable for long rides, and the upright riding posture means you can cruise for hours without back pain. Even with my daily commute through chaotic traffic, the bike never feels heavy or clumsy.Mileage averages around 28–30 km/l, which is acceptable for the kind of performance it delivers. The suspension tuning hits a sweet spot—absorbs potholes well without feeling soft at high speeds. And yes, that exhaust note has just the right growl—subtle in the city, satisfying on open roads.If I had to nitpick, I’d say the heat management could’ve been better in slow traffic, and the rear-view mirrors vibrate slightly at higher revs. But apart from that, it’s hard to complain.In short, the Speed 400 isn’t just a good-looking machine—it’s a genuinely practical performance bike. I have been riding the Triumph Speed 400 for a while now, and I have to say it is an absolute gem. The bike looks amazing, classyclean, and not overly aggressive. It has that premium feel that instantly grabs attention, but in a subtle way.The mileage is pretty good for a 400cc (22-33kmpl)bike which actually surprised me. The pickup is excellent the moment you pull the throttle, the bike just takes off. It feels like a beast when you want it to, but you can easily ride it slow in traffic too. Itsuper smooth and agile, which makes city riding really comfortable.When it comes to value for money, I honestly dont think there is a better bike under ₹300k in India right now. The engine refinement is top-notch, and everything from the fit and finish to the build quality feels premium. Triumph really nailed it with this one.Overall, the Speed 400 gives you the best of both worlds: performance and comfort. Its a bike that makes every ride enjoyable, whether you’re cruising around the city or opening it up on the highway. Totally worth it.Cons:The headlight throw for night touring is below average.The showroom(depends on which state you live in)
