go for it if you want a good bike you want best riding experience, the bike was perfect running cost a little higher but it totally worth it, good for long ride good for daily running you can go for long rides and week end rides the engine was so smooth breaking was good gear shifter is smooth overall ill rate this bine 9.5/10

I love this bike so much. The performance of this bike is phenomenal. The agility, handling & the comfort even for a pillion is top notch.There's only one issue. The sound possibly because of shin or chain tensioner can irritate you if you ride without helmet but i heard that all high compression engines have such issues. Just have to get shin adjusted or chain tensioner changed if it becomes very noticeable Overall, Its 4.5 out of 5 for me.. Love this machine

I recently purchased the Triumph Speed 400, and I’m really impressed with the overall experience. The bike looks premium, feels very well built, and offers an excellent balance of performance, comfort, and handling.The engine is smooth and responsive, and the bike is especially enjoyable to ride both in the city and on highways. The riding position is comfortable, and the lightweight feel makes it easy to handle even in traffic.The design is one of my favourite aspects—it has a classy and sporty look without being too flashy. The braking and suspension also give a confident and planted feel while riding.Overall, the Triumph Speed 400 is a great choice for anyone looking for a premium motorcycle with strong performance, beautiful styling, and everyday usability. Very happy with the purchase and looking forward to many enjoyable rides!

I was confused between the speed 400 and grr 450 but after taking the test rides, I was sure on my take of the Speed 400. It has the best ergonomics and performance for a city commute and the top notch performance for highway rides. It has decent suspension which is enough for the potholes in india and slight off road. The torque and throttle response is crazy in this bike. Would definitely recommend buying this beauty. Mileage is decent in this segment.

The Triumph Speed 400 is a fantastic, well-built bike that is super easy to ride—even if you are jumping straight up from a scooty—and much more forgiving of clutch mistakes than an aggressive bike like the Duke 390. After riding it for over 5,000 km in Mumbai since November 2025, it is a blast in the city and on highways, but it comes with a few real downsides: the engine gets crazy hot in heavy traffic and feels like it's burning your leg through your pants, it misses having a Bluetooth app sync at this price, the stock seat gets uncomfortable on long trips so you will want to modify it, and the service centers are far away (like driving 45 km just to get it serviced from Fort).

I have driven 30000 km with this bike. Performance and riding quality is good. Service needs improvement. Some time they take too much time for minor repairs. Service team pay little attention to bikes that are outside their service centre. Stability and brakes of bike is unmatched. Apart little service problem riding quality of this bike is highly satisfactory.

The ex-showroom price for a 400cc engine is ₹2,39,000 with a 40% GST. In comparison, the ex-showroom price for a 349cc engine is ₹2,31,000 with an 18% GST. The flat 22% GST benefit only amounts to ₹8,000, which means customers aren’t really getting any significant advantage. The company seems to be profiting from this new scheme instead. They should consider reducing the ex-showroom price further; otherwise, their bikes might not be seen on the roads again. I’m also considering switching my plan and moving to Honda.

Very costly bike after the CC downgrade

I always wished to buy this bike after the CC downgrade but still cannot think of it, i thought price would reduce but NO, the company chose to divert all profits to themselves and haven't thought of customers. Don't buy this bike unless the company reduces its price significantly, because servicing and daily commuting on this bike also cost a lot.

Only a downgrade in power without any upgrade in mileage and without any reduction in cost in spite of 18% GST. Those who purchased an actual 400cc bike are in profit. Now, only the company is in profit; its customer buys it. If you still can, go for 400cc. I suggest not going for the 350cc version. You get less power; the government gets less tax. The company gets more. profit.

Triumph recently launched 350cc bike doesn't make sense to buy due to its overpricing. If we are getting 400xx bike at just 10k to 15k higher rate, then why don't we go for a 400cc expect 350cc triumph should the price of the 350cc motorcycle make sense to purchase this motorcycle. Triumph needs to update the pricing of the recently launched bike
