It abandons the razor-sharp, track-focused ergonomics of the legendary 675R for a more accessible "sport-tourer" feel.Engine and PerformanceThe heart of the new Daytona is a 660cc inline-triple, derived from the Trident 660 but significantly upgraded to produce 95hp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm of torque. This engine offers a dual personality: docile below 5,000rpm for commuting, but transforming into a howling, aggressive beast in the high revs (up to 12,650rpm). It is faster accelerating than most competitors, making it thrilling on twisty roads.Handling and ErgonomicsThe riding position is sporty but comfortable, featuring clip-on handlebars that are higher than traditional supersports, reducing wrist strain on long rides. It’s a bike that doesn’t just move , you feel it in your chest and your heartbeat.What stands out about the Daytona 660 is its focus on riding. It doesn’t overload you with modern features or unnecessary extras. Instead, it puts the spotlight on performance. That engine, with its great sound and raw power, is enough to keep you excited ride after ride. It reminds you that motorcycling is not about buttons and screens , it’s about the connection between rider and machine.But like every bike, the Daytona 660 isn’t perfect. The braking feels average, especially considering how much power it carries. It’s not unsafe, but you do expect more sharpness and bite at this level. Comfort is also not its strong point. The riding position can get tiring on longer trips, so it’s better suited for short, spirited rides rather than all day touring.Mileage is another area where it’s just “OKAY” Compared to other high-end bikes, the Daytona 660 gives average fuel efficiency. The buying experience was the best in class as per the standards and the reputation of the brand. The more you ride the more you get into the vehicle saying as per the experience. The pros come in the ride quality comfort and the torque that hits the adrenaline rush very fast and leaves a stunning experience for the rider. The cons require a lot of care and cleanliness as per the liquid-cooled engines. The main and final point is that the FUEL might be the reason someone thinks it is not worth it, but I suggest the mileage won't be a problem once you ride the bike home and give it good care. I drove it carefully and I got better mileage than the company was offering (it was due to the careful driving).I suggest everyone who has a dream to own one please come up to it and just try the test drive and leave the mess behind.

Daytona 660 is not nimble and not value for money.

I bought all new Daytona 660 in the month of October. It was a horrible experience owning this bike and I am already selling it. The handlebars aren't good for touring and long rides. Worst middleweight bike designed by Triumph. Not Nimble and agile with performance at all. Go with CBR650R or ZX4r. I was totally disappointed with the highway performance and cornering ability of the bike. Wasted my 13 lakhs with this one.

The Daytona 660 to me is a styling exercise and just a faired road bike, priced accordingly. I think it is unfortunate that the road testers criticize the bike's suspension when 99% of the owners are not going to ride it on the ragged edge like all of the journalists on their testosterone-fuelled press launch. The occasional tester will admit that the average user is not going to come to the bike's limitations. I did put a deposit down on the 660 but the GSX-8R would have been a very close 2nd
