I feel cheated as I trusted Yamaha. I have had mt15 for the past 4 years, and each service it costs between minimum 2500 rs to 8000rs; all the time, something or the other will be considered replaceable by yamaha service centre. They will say the cone set has to be changed, the sprocket has to be changed some or some other things. They try to increase the bill, MINIMUM they will charge 2500 just for service, which doesn't include engine oil and filter. Car service costs 5k per year and it's an suv with 1500cc. But this 155cc bike is draining my wallet with service 3 times a year. This bike cannot be ridden comfortably for more than 40km... Seat is very stiff, and the suspension is not tuned for Indian roads and so the suspension is also very stiff.
The few advantages of this bike is
1. Looks good
2. Mileage i constantly get 45 to 48kmpl.
That is it. I would suggest India to boycott useless brands which is what has happened to Yamaha. Long back, it was considered one of the best brands, but not anymore. My suggestion is this is a 2/10 rated bike.

I own a mt 15 and I got some problems
Here the problems
1. chain spoket issue
2. Gear shift issue when I shift my gear it make loud noise
3. I don't know but my bike gives 32 mileage my bike is 5 month old
4. Handle bar is not strong it can bend easily
5. Rear suspension
I face this problems on my mt 15 and other overall experience is very good

Buying experience was poor. Service if your bike want to run more don't service it from service center. Their service center are the waste from my place. Also the bike is poor quality from the date of purchase everything start to fall especially the display. If you are expecting Japanese reliability from the bike never buy this bike. Reliability has been erased from the Yamaha dictionary. From 6 th month after purchase one by one start to fall first engine sound second body parts. If you value your money go for another choice every bike nowadays is same no other choice then only select new vehicles. New vehicles are a headache to maintain
