Hi everyone, I am proud owner of Speed 400. Purchased the bike on sep'25. Yet my trips are in plan, am writing this review after my experience riding my bike through Chennai Traffic. In term of style, it meets my expectations. Engine note and riding smoothness are more than expected. Smooth start even at 4th gear in signal. Comfortable for 2 riders for long. ABS works perfectly. Adjustable levers for braking and Clutch help for different riders. while riding it feels like we're floating above the roads. Suspension works Good even at messy roads. For pros i give 4 out of 5. Here comes the cons For long rides, seats feel hard and my legs get numb. No air circulation gap available. Rear Brakes are not at to the point, lags braking at point. we need to use both the brakes. Were i have a shorthand, clutch lever operation at full is getting difficult in traffic. Headlight power is not sufficient at most of the places. after a year power of the light fades away, which need to be changed. We need to opt for aftermarket fog lamps which is disappointment. During rainy season, without the mud flop you will get dirty even your helmet. Chain and disc pads gets rust easily. Recommend maintaining regularly.

I’ve been riding the Triumph Speed 400 for some time now, and it has been an impressive experience overall. The first thing that stands out is its excellent stability. Its low-end torque is a major advantage, offering strong pull even at lower RPMs, which makes it ideal for city riding. You don’t need frequent gear shifts, and that smooth power delivery adds a lot to everyday comfort. In terms of performance and efficiency, I’m getting a mileage of around 31 km/l, which is quite good for a 400cc motorcycle. It strikes a great balance between power and practicality, allowing you to enjoy spirited rides without worrying too much about fuel economy. The service cost is slightly higher than regular bikes, which is expected from a premium brand like Triumph. However, the service quality and attention to detail make it worth it. One minor drawback is the brake pad life — depending on your braking habits, they may need replacement every 2,500 km or so. It’s manageable but something riders should keep in mind while calculating maintenance costs. Overall, the Triumph Speed 400 delivers a refined and stable ride with smooth performance and excellent handling. It’s easy to maneuver in the city, yet powerful enough for occasional highway rides. The combination of strong torque, premium build, and balanced ergonomics makes it a motorcycle that truly stands out in its segment. If you’re looking for a bike that offers performance, comfort, and everyday usability, the Triumph Speed 400 is a great choice. It’s not just about speed — it’s about the joy and confidence it gives every time you twist the throttle.

My cousins recently took this bike and when I rode it for the first time it literally surprised me. What a power and comfort. And i have to praise the Triumph's refined engine used in this. It goes as smooth as you want any bike to even in high speeds. It is not that agile but yeah, controlling and manoeuvring ability needs to be praised. The mileage is something to discuss, but yeah, performance requires some compromises. Finally loved it!

The day I brought my Triumph Thruxton 400 home, I couldn't stop staring at it. I'd seen the pictures and watched the videos, but in person, the bike is simply stunning. The half-fairing, the clip-on handlebars, and that gorgeous seat cowl give it such a classic cafe racer look that it feels like a work of art. My favorite is the Pearl White color—it's so clean and really makes the lines of the bike pop. Every time I park it, I catch people giving it a second look, and I've already had a few strangers come up and ask me about it. That feeling of owning something so stylish and unique is just a huge part of the fun. Riding the Thruxton 400 has been an absolute joy. The engine, a 398cc single, is incredibly smooth and well-behaved in the city. Navigating through traffic is easy, and the low seat height and slim profile make it very manageable. The power delivery is linear, but once you get into the mid-to-high revs, it really wakes up and pulls hard. I've found that it's just as happy cruising on the highway as it is zipping around town. A few people have mentioned some vibrations at higher RPMs, and while I can feel them, they're not a deal-breaker for me—they just add to the bike's character. The riding position is definitely a bit committed, leaning forward with the clip-on handlebars, but it's not uncomfortable for my daily commute or even a couple of hours on a weekend ride. It’s a purposeful stance that makes you feel connected to the bike, especially when you're carving through corners. The handling is a lot of fun; it feels light on its feet and turns in quickly, which gives me a ton of confidence. The suspension setup is great, too. It’s sporty enough for some spirited riding but also plush enough to soak up the bad roads and potholes that are a part of everyday life. I've also been impressed with the practicality. The fuel efficiency is pretty decent for a bike in this class, and the long service intervals mean less time at the garage and more time on the road. The fact that it comes with modern tech like dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control is a huge bonus, giving me peace of mind. Overall, the Triumph Thruxton 400 has been everything I hoped for and more. It’s a bike that not only performs great but also makes every ride feel special. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
