Hello friends, thanks for reading my review. In this review i am telling you all the aspects of hero maestro edge vx 2016 with the advantages and disadvantages and this is my own experience about this scooter. Before start i give you some information , i bought my maestro edge vx on December 2015 , i had driven this for more than a year. Okay i come to the point , here is my review:-

#looks- looks is just awesome, overall edgy design, nice and trendy exhaust, bike style front mud guard, black cast alloy wheels looks good.

#features & specifications- maestro edge vx is loaded with some cool features which you have not found in others: 1)analog+digital instrument console and digital display has consist of~ low fuel indicator, service reminder, trip meter, odometer.

2) rear led lights strip,

3)front telescopic suspension

4)combi brake

5)12" inch front and 10 inch wheels with tubeless tyres

6) parking lever

#performance-it has a 110 cc engine as you know, if i talk about the performance , the performance is very good i can say but pickup is not great but its good. It gives turbine like sound from engine which i like most.

#top speed- it has a good top speed of 80+( i checked on highway) for a 110cc scooter.

# mileage- mileage is a plus point of this scooter , it gives more mileage than activa 125 bs4( my present scooter) i.E around 50-55 kmpl.

# ride quality- ride is very good in this scooter, nice road grip on normal to sandy roads with a large wheel base, very stable even in top speed.

# comfortable- according to my testing this not very comfortable for a long drive because the seat is very hard , but good for city rides.

# pricing- the cost i have paid for maestro edge vx version was rs. 61000/(with all accessories and usb charging port) onroad ambikapur, chhattisgarh.

# servicing & maintenance- service and maintenance cost is average around 300-500 rs. Not satisfied with servicing in showroom.

**now time for discuss some advantages & disadvantages:-

Advantages- 1. Nice edgy design and good looking

2. Nice front suspension

3. Mileage is good enough

4. Informative digital console

5. Nice grip on road with large wheel base ( compared to activa 125cc bs4)

6. Less vibration

7. Price is like awesome for this type of feature

Disadvantages- 1. Pickup is little lazy from 20-40kmph

2. Not very comfortable

3. May be front broad look

4. As all ways rear suspension, it is hard

5. Plastic body

Tips for Hero Maestro Edge 110

Avoid installation of usb charging port its worthless strongly suggest you that check the seat foam before buy that its should be soft not hard.

    1. The buying experience was good.
    2. Riding experience is good for singles, but not for doubles. This scooter doesn't have a proper pickup.
    3. Looks are good, performance is not up to the mark and the pickup is too low.
    4. Servicing and maintenance was good.
    5. Pros and Cons, Pros - this bike has good looks and good mileage. Cons - bad pickup, low performance, not even preferable, once we get the problem of the petrol cap it never gets rectified.

  • Cheap quality

Worst product from Hero, with more maintenance and cheap build quality don’t go for this blady cheap quality. The mileage it’s gives only 30kph sometimes less than that also, the service from the hero showroom is also very poor, if we are riding speed more than 50 then your mileage will fall down to below 25, don’t go for this.

  • Disappointed Maestro Edge 110 Owner - A Comprehensive Review

    Naman

I purchased the Hero Maestro Edge 110 back in 2016, and I must say, my experience with this scooter has been nothing short of disappointing. From the buying process to the overall ownership, there are several areas where the Maestro Edge 110 falls short of my expectations.
**Buying Experience:** The buying experience was relatively hassle-free, with a friendly and knowledgeable salesperson guiding me through the process. However, it was only after the purchase that I realized that I may have made a grave mistake.
**Riding Experience:** The riding experience on the Maestro Edge 110 has been a mixed bag. On the positive side, it's a comfortable scooter with a smooth ride, thanks to the telescopic front suspension. However, the performance leaves much to be desired. The scooter struggles to pick up speed, especially when there's a pillion rider. It feels underpowered, and overtaking on highways is a nerve-wracking experience.
    **Pros:**
    1. Comfortable ride: The Maestro Edge 110 offers a comfortable and smooth ride.
    2. Telescopic front suspension: The front suspension is a pro as it enhances the scooter's stability.
    **Cons:**
    1. Underpowered: The scooter lacks the power needed for confident city and highway riding.
    2. Poor fuel efficiency: The fuel economy is far from what was promised at the time of purchase.
    3. High maintenance costs: Regular servicing and maintenance come at a steep price.
    4. Unreliable service centers: Finding a trustworthy Hero service center has been a challenge, and the quality of service often leaves much to be desired.
**Servicing and Maintenance:** The scooter's servicing and maintenance have been a constant source of frustration. Not only is it expensive, but I've had issues with parts availability, and the quality of service is inconsistent at best.
**Looks and Performance:** In terms of looks, the Maestro Edge 110 scores well with its stylish design and a variety of color options. However, these aesthetic features fail to compensate for its lackluster performance.
In summary, my experience as a Hero Maestro Edge 110 owner has been deeply unsatisfying. The scooter may have some pros, like comfort and design, but the cons far outweigh these positives, with issues related to power, fuel efficiency, maintenance, and servicing. I would caution potential buyers to explore other options in the market before settling for the Maestro Edge 110. It's a case of style over substance, and it falls short of delivering the quality and performance expected from a reputable brand like Hero.

For the last 3 years, I am using this hero maestro edge 110 BS iV version. suspension and ride quality are very good but fiber quality is very bad. also, you will not get proper service even from an authorized dealers workshop as no one know how to repair it as the sensors used in always given me trouble. always had a problem with the lock and needed to replace it. within 2 months of my purchase, it automatically stops when the engine get hot after riding 15 or 20 km itself that problem was solved by an outsider technician long after 2 years. very heavy. milage is ok as I always use it on highway road daily.

Very bad experience with Maestro. I am facing new and new problems every day. Mileage is also very low. When we accelerate bike will shake had very badly. On hilly roads it can't take two persons. Pickup is good but pulling power is bad. Please don't go for Maestro . Service cost is normal but parts are too expensive.

  • Electric or petrol which is better

    Ameen

Hero maestro edge 110cc scooter is cost-effective but due to the increase in petrol price this was a huge burden on the monthly budget, mileage is poor approx 35-38km after full service(daily approx 80km running needed) in the brochure it was 65 km/ltr I think. Also, the service cost is huge if you buy new one electric is preferable coz costs are approx the same.

What I read about mileage is true. Even I'm getting the same 35-40km average.
Please note: do not take your vehicle to any authorized service center of "hero" company, you will regret it later. I have experienced their worst service and it ceased my engine. Instead, making a good relation with the local mechanic will be far better.

    Meghah

As per the service centre staff, kochi, there is no guarantee or warranty for the spares. Every day complaint. Please, don't buy this vehicle anymore. Every time we have to visit the service centre for minimum 3 times to get the issue fixed. I got the scooter in 2018. From then I am facing this. When I enquired the service centre, they said that this vehicle does not have any guarantee.
