50000km- 1 minor accident-all original fairing and parts (except brakes and chain) till now and still good to go 1)buying experience- i was a 2nd year student back in 2013 and this was the bike offering 220cc under 1lac. It was the fastest indian and almost every one of my friends have and had a pulsar or a re (not so much of a fan). 200ns was new back then and had it's own problems and couldn't just rely on duke 200, so i went straight to the bajaj showroom. Booked it and got it the next week. 2)riding experience- it's a average city commuter , average cruiser and average racer. The bike has everything average but long / bumpy rides are not comfortable and bajaj never tried making it that way. They fitted everything in there to give you everything.3)details about looks, performance etc.- now they say top speed is 134kmph but i clocked 138 with a pillion rider weighing same as me -75kgs. This bike can be put through anything. You'll feel it but it won't just go out. Looks are good, especially the headlamp. And it doesn't have a punchy start. It goes on smoothly. Vibrations above 100kmph but no heating issues. Brakes are good with no abs. Bike is tough. It won't let you down when it comes to durability.3)servicing and maintenance- bajaj service is not top notch like ktm but still in pune, i get spares easily and they do it in a day. Changed the chain kit at 26000km when it's suggested at 12k. Engine oil leakage is common with this bike after 10000km. Mine happened at 27500. Changed front disc and bearings at 46000 and still going with stock rear ones. In all for me it's low maintenance bike.4)pros and cons- it's not a good build quality. Even latest p220s today are same just tuning here and there. Like i said, it has everything but still it's rough to ride this machine. It's not smooth as fz250 or ns200 or duke200. Not as fast as those on streets. But you'll feel the upper hand in terms of maintenance and value for money. Plus, it's lot more comfortable for long rides then any of above.

Once the fastest Indian.. Is still very fast. The ride on pulsar 220 is quite engaging, you feel the oneness with bike and at the same time it is quite comfortable.. Fits very well to tall riders. The design feels a bit dated cause it is the same for a decade but still grabs some eyeballs.Ride quality is just awesome no complains here. The headlights gets the job done also no need of aftermarket lights. Mileage too is quite good considering a 220 cc motor it returns me around 37 kmpl. Now coming to cons.. The visor vibrates at around 6000 rpm And the the main stand scraps if riding with pillion.. Bajaj should work on that.

By proper seating we can use the bike for touring purpose also. It has evergreen design. But the front speedometer is old and requires lots of upgrades like gear shifter detail and watch.

Got this bike in 2013 and have been riding it for the last 4 years. It's really a great experience riding, the beast of an engine needs just a nudge to get into the beast mode the acceleration is terrific ...

The best part of the ride is the comfort level one can ride this behemoth for 100 km on a stretch and still not feel a thing . Looks are fantastic and performance wise the bike is still the best in it's class the mileage is good at around 40 km pl in the city and 45 km pl on the highways. The servicing cost is pretty low and it is a low maintenance bike if ridden properly over the years at an average the servicing cost has hovered somewhere in between rs 1000 to rs 1500 for me... The best part is even for a leisurely ride the bike is really phenomenal...Owning this bike for the last 4 years i have felt that the motor is good for whatever you do wanna zoom down a straight no problem take a leisurely ride soaking in the atmosphere no issues at all. The best part is the balance the bike seems to possess it is practically other-worldly .. On the downside the front disc calipers are a bit small for the amount of torque the engine generates and the front wheel tends to skid a bit if braked hard beyond 60 kmph....
