Yamaha management is mocking Indian bikers smh. 4.6L for a 300cc bike is ridiculous even if it is CBU. They are just selling off the leftover stock from the global market here. I would urge all Indian buyers to refrain from purchasing these overpriced bikes and teach them a lesson. There are far better bikes in this price range.

It's a Yamaha so if they told me to pay 10 lakhs for it I would definitely buy it. Because once you ridden Yamaha you will love it. I have more than 5 Yamaha including bikes and scooters. Riding experience is to the next level. Let's not talk about looks and performance because anyone even a child also falls in love with it just like me. Service is like you have to consider it as your child otherwise it will Empty your wallet.
Pros: You will enjoy your life each and every moment while riding it. It's literally The Powerbang.
Handling, Breaking, Power, and Comfort to the next level.
Cons: Lack of Service center ( Trusted ) in the Mumbai area.
Yes, it's a bit more costly than other technological machines but you will get Yamaha's Reliability with it. Raw Power. Love you, Yamaha.

Keep changing oil after 3000 to 4000 km. And clean chain sprocket after 500 kms. Dont crash it. Ride safely, if you buy new then give yourself and bike lil bit time to know each other because its a raw power. Dont take it lightly. Once you know this machine then there is no one is happier than you. Thank you.

Highly Overpriced for a 300cc segment

I did ride the Yamaha R3 before, These guys launched with almost everything the same but they truly lost their customers with the pricing literally mocking indian customers, Instead one should go for Aprillia Kawasaki Honda with more power & features at the same price.. loosers Yamaha. Truly an unexpected pricing.

Yamaha selling this bike with the remaining pcs in India, 2024 Yamaha just added a TFT speedometer, quick shifter, and new colors & its advertisement is like a new generation bike (exactly like mt15), don't think indians are fools, far better Italian brand Aprilia rs 457 is value for money, waste product r3.

Very much overpriced for this spec machinery. Only USD forks have been updated, add another 2laks to your budget and get super sports or inline 4 for yourself. Any good second-hand bike on the same budget. Yamaha loses customers only Because of its overpricing. In the same price range, you can get a Benelli Kawasaki or Honda inline 4s.

I never owned this bike. My brother's friend bought this back in 2018 (3.90 lakh On-road). I have ridden this bike a lot. Since there isn't much difference in engine so thought to write a review. And I tell you what, the power delivery is super creamy with butter smooth gearbox and the exhaust note is eargasmic with that twin cylinder. The power sometimes scared me when revved hard but once you get used to it wouldn't be much of a problem. The brakes are good. It doesn't have much of features but honestly, who cares about features, they usually don't use it most of the time. Engine heats in city traffic but it's not unbearable. However, even after 5 years, it never broke down as the servicing is done 2 to 3 times a year. Bhaiya has kept it maintained till now and it only has a few scratches on the fairing but still, the engine condition is as good as new. R3 has been one of my favorite bikes but they launched it in 2023 and in our city, On-road price is 5.30 lakhs. It has become super expensive. A few tips for maintaining a bike, Use 10w50 fully synthetic engine oil (if highway ride is more).
