1) buying experience: in 2009(back when i was student), i was mesmerised by the looks of this bike owned by one of my friend, so when i decided to buy a bike from my parents(hard earned) money i just wanted to sound reasonable, my heart was for r15, but compromised a little to settle on fz-16 raider red. Actually today i feel that compromise was the best one. I am yamaha fan boy. So i ruled out options of other competitors well in advance. Then i happened to meet nice gentlemen from bangalore wheels rajajinagar to ease my bike purchase. I got it delivered within 2 days. Day of purchase was exciting. Thank you bangalore wheels guys to ease our work.2) riding experience: i have clocked 65000 kms in nearly decade long relationship. Looks were amazing because back in 2009/10 trend was more of 150cc segment unlike today. I was very excited with the initial ride was initially biased with reviews of hard gearbox, mileage, maintenance etc. Ya, i accept my bike had initially hard gear box, but once it was getting old the bike was opening up, old in the sense not 15k or 20k, just after 1k-2k once initial service was done. Mileage, i don't know about others but for me mileage was initial concern i am not gonna boost like company people like 45kmpl etc etc. From day of purchase till now i.E march 2010 - July 2018, i am getting mileage of 36~38, guys yamaha is nothing but reliability. My friends who had pulsar started with 50+ came to a stage of 35+ within short span, so i wasn't really worried about mileage after 3k kms. Pickup was best in class, was happy to have a naked bike. For me initial head ache was yamaha logo theft. It was a huge pain in the ass whenever i park my bike in busy street and by the time i return back to my bike my logo were stolen away. Yamaha accessories were affordable, service guys were reckless, anyhow, it was common in bangalore, so i started to inspect my vehicle on my own after service and was getting my work done from those guys. In course of 8+ years, pros: yamaha the brand, vehicle looks, pickup, lightweight, cruising personality in veins for neck to neck traffic.Cons: i used to treat my bike badly sometimes she used to react to it accordingly, but she never let me down in the course of years, had ups and downs but she was part of my family its okay.I wrote this review because today i am telling goodbye to my friend, partner in crime, first love of my life, but still i am equally happy as today i am getting fz25, yamaha legacy continues in me. Yes yamaha!

Not bad FZ16 is A good vision and good mechanics for more people than it hurts but it's not like you too have been trying for FZ16 5 YEARS later cum back.I love the bike Partner will be driving in and enjoy the noise and colorful you have always king the Yamaha King Always King Yamaha And These Bikes Are The Only Ones That Have Bast Bikes.

I have been used in many cities and the bike performance is consistent. Regular service keeps the vehicle in good condition. Since there is no kickstart available make sure to keep the battery charged by using the bike regularly. Also, make sure to clean the air filter as it might choked if not maintained well.

Look its the best in the market, The Service price is reasonable and Yamaha bikes are well known for their durability. Overall it's a good one in the segment.

When I bought this bike I was very happy with the performance of this bike in that budget. My ride experience was great, I have covered more than 40000 kms on this vehicle. Look attracted everyone. The cost of service and maintenance depends on the rider who rides the bike properly. But the company should add some additional features in the digital console like gear shift indicator, time etc...

Amazing performance, the wandering voice of the engine like a cuckoo.... Very nice riding, and comfort with pillion riders. Fantastic mileage. No backache with comfortable seating. Enjoying..... With smile..... Something every motorcyclist can relate to. The reason we feel so happy is pretty simple; every twist of the wrist releases adrenaline which, in turn, releases endorphins. These 'feel good' hormones improve our mood, increase pleasure and minimize pain.

Yamaha fz 16 I have been using last 7 years.. It's a fantastic bike.. I have never changed my bike's spark plug still now... And very low maintenance as well.. Mileage also gives 40 to 45 kms... Comfortable riding experience... Looking style is also good.. A long drive also above 500 kms is possible on this bike...

It's a great bike if you are considering something below 160cc. The performance is awesome along with comfortable. The headlamp is something that I think needs to be modified but it's okay(not a problem). Maintenance and servicing cost is low but the parts are expensive for eg the rear brake which comes with nissin break, which is, of course, no doubt one of the best brakes to be fitted. The mileage is extremely good that is 45-50kmpl. Pros- very smooth refined engine, mileage is great, seat and handlebar is a very comfortable position, good for long rides. Cons-front suspension is weak and tends to break(happened to me within 1 year).

I own yamaha fz bike from 11 years travelled around 27000k kms, it's a low maintenance bike. I get approx. 44 km/l. I have travelled across south India, my longest bike trip is 3k kms, yamaha engine & make is always reliable. Especially the road grip is too good. This bike has become part of my life, it has never let me down.

I bought this bike in 2011 and still to date I never faced any major trouble with repairs. As the bike is short, this is good on city roads as well as highway touring. Look its the best in the market, The Service price is reasonable and Yamaha bikes are well known for their durability. Overall it's a good one in the segment.

Performance and looks.

When I bought this bike I was very happy with the performance of this bike in that budget. My ride experience was great, I have covered more than 40000 kms on this vehicle. Look attracted everyone. The cost of service and maintenance depends on the rider who rides the bike properly. But the company should add some additional features in the digital console like gear shift indicator, time etc...

Amazing performance, the wandering voice of the engine like a cuckoo.... Very nice riding, and comfort with pillion riders. Fantastic mileage. No backache with comfortable seating. Enjoying..... With smile..... Something every motorcyclist can relate to. The reason we feel so happy is pretty simple; every twist of the wrist releases adrenaline which, in turn, releases endorphins. These 'feel good' hormones improve our mood, increase pleasure and minimize pain.

Yamaha fz 16 I have been using last 7 years.. It's a fantastic bike.. I have never changed my bike's spark plug still now... And very low maintenance as well.. Mileage also gives 40 to 45 kms... Comfortable riding experience... Looking style is also good.. A long drive also above 500 kms is possible on this bike...

It's a great bike if you are considering something below 160cc. The performance is awesome along with comfortable. The headlamp is something that I think needs to be modified but it's okay(not a problem). Maintenance and servicing cost is low but the parts are expensive for eg the rear brake which comes with nissin break, which is, of course, no doubt one of the best brakes to be fitted. The mileage is extremely good that is 45-50kmpl. Pros- very smooth refined engine, mileage is great, seat and handlebar is a very comfortable position, good for long rides. Cons-front suspension is weak and tends to break(happened to me within 1 year).

I own yamaha fz bike from 11 years travelled around 27000k kms, it's a low maintenance bike. I get approx. 44 km/l. I have travelled across south India, my longest bike trip is 3k kms, yamaha engine & make is always reliable. Especially the road grip is too good. This bike has become part of my life, it has never let me down.
