Reviews of Yamaha FZ S [2012-2016]

1.) taking boy home :

I bought my bad boy ( fzs-2k14 model, bs-3,black-red) in may 2k14.

I am not impressed that much at start but days passes by i realized the consistency in him.

2.) riding experience:

The bike is stable even at 100+kmph. No engine vibration. Smooth and clear (if u service regularly).

I am 6ft tall eventually it’s a short bike but i didn’t feel that i have a short bike it’s always fun riding him.

Seating posture and fat rear tyre make u feel that u ride a bobber!!

I ride at least 100 kms daily for more than 2 years, i never felt any sort of back pain.

3.) looks:

Simply beast!! no other bike offers such aggressive look.

The fzs version 1 has large rear wheel in its categories.

Because of the rear wheel, the bike is stable at turns and absorb pot-hole vibration.

You will experience riding in race track.

Look worth for money.

The tank capacity is 12l in full stretch i get 500kms

4.) service and maintenance:

I usually do service once i ride 2k kms. Oil service cost comes around ?700 which includes (engine oil (shell) + oil filter +air filter + labor charge)

Water wash once in two week (?100 per wash) and for teflon coating (?400) [ teflon done once in 6 months].

I recommend user to use single petroleum from the start. It’s will increase the efficiency of your bike and engine life.

Chain sprocket life is 20k kms (if u lubricate 4 times a month).

Front tyre(mrf) range is 33k for me and back tyre(mrf) is 20k.

I don’t face any problem with clutch. Brake shoes should be changed after 20k kms. 3 months once full service is mandatory which costs ?2500. To ensure calibration and safety.

If you need a efficient bike then you need to spend 10k a year on average to have good performance.

Battery i use dry cell which is comfortable for me.

5.)pros & cons:

Pros:

Worth for money. Looks add value to bike & easily modified for our wish.

Spares are cheap when compared to other bikes.

Emotionally attached with my boy. Best companion during sad times.

Cons:

Bad quality plastic and default headlights are barely visible. ( i recommend white light which costs ?400)

I feel like a stud when i ride this bike.A wow feeling occurs . The handle bar is too good to handle.. Due to broad rear tyre it looks amazing from back. Engine power of yamaha and years of durability is always good.The exhaust bar never seen before on another bike as good it has..Meant only for new generation guys.

My buying experience its good , its mid range bike, my riding experience its amazing its wonderful and safe bike, about looks, performance its superb, servicing and maintenance its very important for this bike , these affordable naked street bikes had a minor styling and shade difference between them,the riding pleasure of these made them very popular in a small period of time and mostly among those who loved bulky looking bikes

Well it's a good bike if you're low on budget.

Yamaha is very reliable.

Never have i ever faced any emergency issues in 4 years.

I have rode over 45000 km and i'm still satisfied with its performance.

Looks are pretty decent and maintenance cost is very low.

Pros:

1) good and cheap parts

2) brakes

3) light in weight

4) good mileage

Cons:

1) speed is comparatively low

2) riding longer distance may cause pain in shoulder ( my experience )

I won this bike since last 7 yrs.It has an amazing performance. Good power.Excellent pickup.

Overall this is a good bike for day to day use.It has a mileage of 40kmpl.

This bike is really a money worthy bike.I have used this bike till now upto 32000kms.

This is an awesome bike in this range.

I am super satisfied with this bike.

Bought this bike in Jan 2010, still owning it. An awesome machine in sense of style and speed, gone on many trips (long & short). Gives you a mileage of 30-35 kmpl which is fair enough from a brand like yamaha

Service and maintenance is also minimal, once in every 3 months .

In short an awesome bike

Awesome bike with more power and speed. Even i own this bike and gives mileage of 39-42 kmpl. It has more comfort as i traveled continuously for 140kms. Road grip is excellent. Best bike of 150cc engines. The bike has good suspension. Best for both rural and urban areas. Most interesting thing about this bike is its style. The cost of this bike is much better when compared to other commutators of this type. .

Its simply the best. I love it very much.

I have been riding this bike since from last 3 years all the way of about more than 50000kms....

Good performance and easy maintenance...

Eco friendly blue core technology engine with great mileage...

I have purchased the very first bike of yamaha fz-s version 1 and then for a change i purchased the fz-s v2.0...

Both gave me a good ride and satisfaction with great look...

Now again planning for the next version of fz-s series...
