Buying experience- bought in august 2020 when there was half lockdown. Bike came in few weeks. Buying was hassle free. All depends on dealer. Make sure to check with other dealers also inypur area.
Riding experience - engine is smooth. You will fill vibrations on foot board after 60km/hr. Can go upto 75km/hr. Not recommended to drive such bikes at high speed due safety. Kick works fine. Regular maintenance will keep engine smooth for long run. Suspension is good.
Looks are good. Everything looks easy to access. Fit and finish is also good. Do check while taking bike delivery.
Performance is upto standard. This surely competes to japanese brands. Yes some refinement is not as close as theirs. Mileage is good. Keep at 50km/hr, you wil get 60km on highway. In city it will be 55km average. If you ddrive at 60km speed you will get 52-54km average.
Service price is acceptable. Parts are easily available in centers and outside garages. Try to change parts as per maintenance book, the bike wont stall anywhere.
Pros- mileage, features, ease of maintenance.
Metal body more compared to activa.
Features and ride quality.
Cons- brakes have slightly less bite.
Some parts wearout easily.

Tips for TVS Jupiter

Change oil after 3k km. Adjust brake periodically when lever pull increases. Protect handle during rainy season. Accelarator tends to jam if kept exposed in rains. Oil nuts and bolts. Use footpegs for pillion rider to climb on bike. Clean mud on engine and wheels to increase smoothness and performance. Use kick atleast once in week.

1. I bought the jupiter zx model from a dealership nearby and got good pricing on it, as I got it in 5-7 k less than what the showroom guys were quoting me.
2. I have previously owned a tvs wego, and rode the activa, compared to both the ride felt really smooth, and the seat is very comfortable.
The handles feel good, and overall it feels very nice to ride even on bad roads.
The disc breaks do work wonderfully. Also, it has an eco and power mode, wherein the vehicle switches automatically based on the engine power requirement and the speed.
Compared to others, i.E activa, access has long and more comfortable seating for the pillion rider.
3. Look wise it has a good metal body and feels strong. There is chrome styling on both the mirrors and the side body. A digital cluster that looks attractive on ignition.
4. During these 2 yrs I haven't had any issues with my jupiter. It is still riding smoothly and feels new. I have availed of free service from the authorized center until now.
5. Pros- it has good ride handling and comfort. It has fuel injection technology, and people working in workshops/garages rate it ahead of activa or any other scooty in terms of maintenance and riding.
It has an interesting feature of a silent start, and the boot space has an led light which is quite useful. It fits a standard helmet and is big enough.
I am quite a tall man, and I have ample leg space while riding.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and I feel tvs jupiter is a good choice.

I bought this scooter in Oct 2017 so ridden it almost for more than 5 yrs. and almost 60000 km.
1. Buying experience was pathetic, somewhere from Kandivali link road near Mahavir nagar.
2. Riding experience is good/satisfactory till today. I am a bit rough rider sometimes, especially when getting late. And I am late almost 50% of the time.
3. Maintenance cost is affordable, the average maintenance cost is around 1500/- per service after every 2000 km.
4. Service Centers are good but never have all the parts every time and will order for you and ask you to come again. Luckily regular servicing parts are available.
5. Whatever you do but average (fuel efficiency) never goes higher than 35-37 km.
6. Tyres are smaller so Mumbai roads with potholes may affect your back and scooter's life.
As usual in the rainy season need to take extra care while riding.
7. My chassis has broken once from the center below the footrest, the reason can be potholes, poor quality no idea. The local mechanic said that all Jupiter has the same issue and gets crack/breakage in chasis from the same place where as Activa doesn't have this issue.
8. Wheels are good no issues at all.
Headlights are not sufficient at night without streetlights.
The seat is big enough for two healthy people as well.
The petrol cap is good and waterproof so water doesn't go inside in the rainy season.
Silencer and engine are noisy compared to Honda.
9. Good engine quality till today.
10. Now it looks old but the performance is still good and needs to refurbish from the aesthetic side.

1. Buying experience is good. Received scooter on time. PDI is ok.
2. Riding experience is good. Daily commuting for 30kms(15 +15) in heavy traffic.
3. Very stable, getting 55 kmpl mileage, good braking, good suspensions, headlight intensity is not enough but reflector is good, the engine kill switch is not provided, fuel lead cover is directly fixed with fuel tank plastic part.
4. Sevice of tvs is very poor. Mechanics and service advisers are properly trained. Maintenance cost is around 500 per 2000kms and 1300 at 12000kms.
5. Pros. 1. Riding quality (stability and comfort) is good 2. The material used is good. 3. Mileage is good. 4. Easy double stand 5. Good storage space.
cons. 1. Fit and finish are not good. 2. Fuel lead cover is fixed directly on the plastic tank, risk of damage due to the weight of the fuel filling nozzle. 3. Due to the absence of an engine kill switch and auto-off facility one has to stop the engine by key only. In this case, I experience wearing out of the key head after 10k and trouble in on/ off operation. 4. Headlight properly focuses on the road but the light source intensity is not enough for heavy traffic road.
* request to ask for warranty conditions before delivery, as the company is not providing a warranty for all parts of scooter. To get a warranty for said kms it is compulsory to take after-sales service from tvs authorized service center. My experience with the service centre is not good.
* Download the service manual from the website to maintain your vehicle.
* engine and gear oil need replacement at 2k kms.
* clutch roller needs replacement around 18k. ( 24k mentioned in the service manual ) it depends on riding conditions.

I bought the brand new tvs jupiter zx connect variant in the month of September 2022. For the first month, the scooty is really superb but then the problems started after the first service. Some ticking sounds started from the silencer or from the bottom of the vehicle(i don't know exactly where that noise is coming from). I have taken the scooty to the service center again and they started arguing with me like this noise is an inbuilt sound. Then I asked them to compare the sound with another jupiter. Then I said to see the difference. Then they have taken the complaint but I didn't get a resolution to date. I can say the people working there don't have complete knowledge of their work.

Buying exp was great staff was polite and humble .... Riding exp time during the first service and second service I faced a mileage decrease and issues with a horn which were rectified immediately after the complaint other than that I m very satisfied with it mine has been done around 13k kms on it and I have from 4yrs gladly I had no issues the engine pickup and mileage (after the rectification) . Usually, it gives 55 to 60 kmpl when driven under 40kmph and gives to 49kmpl on rash driving ... Service staff varies from place to place but here I didn't have any issues regarding the service staff ... Pros are mileage, pickup ( i personally like the looks better than that of activa and acess125) .... Cons are the head lamp has a weird leveling angle because of that the light is not fully orated towards the road it's somewhat scattered upwards which could have been better and a manual light turn on off button because it drains quickly the battery as the lights remain on during the day.
