It's a nice moped for city rides than any other scooters. It's giving me mileage around 52 kms/pl if you ride this bike between 40 to 50 kms/hr. The suspensions are good and it's comfortable to ride. Service after the sale is also nice. The staff is good in the showroom. The service center will call you when it's time to service the bike and listen to your issues properly and work on them.

Tips for TVS Jupiter

Change oil after 2500 kms. Ride by with economy speed for better mileage.

I owned a tvs jupiter basic model bs6 variant from the starting there is noise problem, you can say tappet noise problem told many times to service guy during every service they just tighten the tappets and after sometime the noise problem again starts.
Tvs jupiter engines are not that much refined better to go for access 125 or honda activa , don't go for cheap price. Only difference will be off 5-6k.
My issue is still not resolved.
Better to own a Luna bike than this shitty scooty. This is my genuine review. Borrowed scooter in April.

The buying experience of this scooter has been very smooth, i got it delivered the same day i ordered(zx aol variant).
Coming to the ride quality, the bike lacks pickup and instant power that any other scooters would give in the same segment. I am 6 feet tall, and this bike is totally not suitable for tall people as it would be difficult for the pillion to adjust if the tall rider is sitting comfortably.
The looks, no doubt are absolutely, but one of the biggest challenges i have faced, is the digital fuel meter which has been not anything close to reliable. It pointed the last two markings on the digital fuel meter even when the fuel tank got empty. The time keeps changing randomly in the digi console. The brakes tend to get soft in very less time. The low ground clearance caused troubles in harsh roads with speed bumps and potholes.
The service was mediocre, they havent lubricated the throttle cable adequately, for which it broke mid way along a highway. The mileage is really good for the city conditions, i got around around 40kmpl in bangalore traffic. So i'd recommend this bike if you are not the young rider who'd love to zoom along the traffic.
it is rather better for the ones who prefer slow rides and crusing style of driving. Overall it has been a good experience with the lack of some reliability and performance. I'd prefer buying an activa 6g instead which i feel has a smoother engine and better braking.

Design point both hooks above footrest needs relook both not reliable bag sling come off while driving. Could be the reason for destruction dangers while driving on the highway

I have bought ZX Smartconnect variant of this scooter 10 days ago and I am driving it daily. I bought from an agency in Hyderabad and the process was smooth. I got the bronze colour and it took only 1 hour to get the vehicle ready for delivery on the first visit itself....
I have bought ZX Smartconnect variant of this scooter 10 days ago and I am driving it daily. I bought from an agency in Hyderabad and the process was smooth. I got the bronze colour and it took only 1 hour to get the vehicle ready for delivery on the first visit itself.
This scooter has decent power and great comfort for family purposes and daily commute. That is why I choose it over ntorq. It handles so well that it feels lightweight but balanced. Suspension is really good and we don't feel any jerks. Rear braking is average but with the disc, it is capable of stopping almost instantly.
Looks-wise I think it misses on colour options as only 2 are available. But I like the bronze colour as it has a gloss finish. Smart connect instrument cluster is similar to ntorq but the app needs a lot of work and does not have any exciting features.
I am yet to get it serviced so can't comment on servicing cost but overall I feel that I made a good decision. I have driven it with my family and everyone acknowledged the comfort.
So, I would recommend this scooter to people looking to buy a value for money, family two-wheeler.

When I visited the tvs showroom I was welcomed warmly by the salesperson. He asked about my requirements and advised me on tvs jupiter . As I enquired further he answered my every query. So I decided to purchase it and within 30 minutes it was delivered to me. Since I paid cash so I got it at a reasonable price.
My experience from the showroom to my home is such a delightful one. It was amazing to drive such a noiseless 125 cc engine. The pickup and power were amazing. The single seat helps us more. Intelligo and i-touch technology are so brilliant to help a rider.
Lookwise it is ahead of its competitors. The drl's makes a difference in the look. The boot light and service due indicator are other attractions.6500 rpm gives instant pickup and mileage of approximately 45 gives relief to me as I can carry some home stuff also.
I have gone for service twice and am satisfied with the service methods and mechanics. The well-equipped service bay with the latest equipment and comfortable waiting lounge give a feeling of ease even in summers. The maintenance cost of jupiter 125 is reasonable and bearable. It does not require heavy everyday maintenance.
Pros:-- jupiter 125's has a large 33 liter under-seat storage. Repositioning of the fuel tanks has created extra space. Large floor board helps to carry more goods. Low seat height is good for low height people.
Cons:--although the colours are vibrant but jupiter needs to be made attractive for teenaged. Sometimes it is uncomfortable above 65 km/ph although it is far better below 60with good mileage also.
