Yamaha MT-15 gets expensive in India

- Prices now start from Rs 1,46,900 onwards

- MotoGP edition available for Rs 1,49,900

- No cosmetic or mechanical changes to the motorcycle

Yamaha Motor India has revised the prices of its products in our market. This price revision also affects the naked roadster model, MT-15. The YZF-R15 based roadster motorcycle is now available from Rs 1,46,900 onwards as against Rs 1,45,900 previously. Check out the complete price list below:

Metallic Black: Rs 1,46,900 (vs. Rs 1,45,900)

Dark Matte Blue: Rs 1,46,900 (vs. Rs 1,45,900)

Ice Fluo Vermillion: Rs 1,47,900 (vs. Rs 1,45,900)

Monster Energy MotoGP: Rs 1,49,900 (vs. Rs 1,47,900)

As seen above, the Metallic Black and Dark Matte Blue colour options have received a price hike of Rs 1,000 while the Ice fluo Vermillion and the Monster Energy MotoGP versions are expensive by Rs 2,000. This price revision does not bring any cosmetic or mechanical upgrades to the 155cc naked roadster.

Thus, the MT-15 continues to use a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with the VVA technology that produces 18.23bhp of power and 13.9Nm of peak torque. The feature list retains an LED headlight, an LED taillight, a negative LCD console, a side stand engine cut off switch, a single-channel ABS setup, and an assist and slipper clutch.
