Royal Enfield has announced the launch of its new Service on Wheels initiative. The new program aims to offer a safe and hassle-free motorcycle service experience to customers at their doorstep. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand has deployed 800 units of purpose-built Royal Enfield motorcycles across the dealerships in the country.
The motorcycles are equipped to carry tools, equipment and spare parts to undertake up to 80% of all typical service and repair requirements. It includes scheduled maintenance service, minor repairs, critical component testing, parts replacement, electrical diagnosis, and more. The service will be handled by trained and authorised technicians. Customers can book the Service on Wheels by contacting their nearest Royal Enfield dealership outlet.
The company has deployed 26 ‘Service on Wheels’ motorcycles in Mumbai and a total of 92 across all its authorised dealership outlets in Maharashtra.
Apart from Service in Wheels, Royal Enfield is also offering a slew of initiatives that ensure contactless purchase and service experience. Customers can book test rides at home and use e-payment options for motorcycle purchase and service.
