The Kawasaki KLX110 is a dirt bike targeted at beginners. While its compact proportions were developed for children, the KLX110 can also double as a mini moto for grown-ups. While it isn’t exactly cheap at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune), the KLX110 is the most affordable dirt bike in Kawasaki’s line-up. Here is a photo gallery of the Kawasaki KLX110 –

At first glance, the KLX110 fools you into believing that it is a full-sized dirt bike thanks to the well-proportioned design.

The KLX110 draws influence from Kawasaki’s bigger dirt bike range, though the compact dimensions and small wheels make it ideal for kids.

The narrow fuel tank and seat, clawed footpegs and the raised handlebar also make the KLX110 comfortable to stand up and ride.

The KLX110 is powered by a 112cc air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine, delivering 7bhp through a four-speed gearbox.

The electric starter, centrifugal clutch which eliminates the need for a clutch lever and a kerb weight of 76kg make the KLX110 easy to use for beginners.

The KLX110 rides on 14-inch front and 12-inch rear spoke wheels shod with button tyres. Brake setup comprises of drum brakes at both ends.

It gets 33mm front forks and a rear monoshock, both of which offer 4.3 inches of travel. Neither offer any adjustability.

The light weight, lively engine and ergonomics make the KLX110 a perfect tool for children, who can advance to the KLX140G once they get accustomed to dirt riding.
