- Gets lighter swingarm

Benelli has launched the updated TRK 502 in China and this version is lighter than the 2022 version that was already launched in Europe and the USA.
Firstly, the manufacturer has reduced the weight of the adventure-touring motorcycle by a healthy 3.6kg. This has been done by replacing the steel swingarm with a lighter and supposedly more robust aluminum alloy unit. But that’s not all, the 2022 TRK 502 also gets slightly modified switchgear for better feel and usability than before. It also gets spoke wheels that can be used with tubeless tyres, a full-colour TFT dash, heated grips and tire pressure sensors, all of which are impressive features for its segment.
Apart from these changes the 2022 Benelli TRK 502 remains similar to the previous model as well as the one available in India in terms of engine specs, and hardware. That said, we can expect Benelli to bring the 2022 TRK 502 and 502X in India sometime soon. And given its recent price hikes, the motorcycle is unlikely to demand a substantial premium over the current Rs 5.79 lakh ex-showroom price tag.
