Hero MotoSports has showcased their latest Dakar bike today. The Hero RR 450 enduro bike will be used for 2018 Dakar season which begins next month.
Hero MotoSports along with its technical partner Speedbrain improved certain aspects of the bike to make it better for its riders. The overall design has been revised and looks much better now. The side fuel tanks have been redesigned as well. The front section has been reworked too to improve mass centralisation. The team rally team has already used this bike at the Morocco rally this year and have been happy with the outcome.
Hero MotoSports team rally finished 12th overall in the last Dakar edition. Joaquim Rodrigues took the 12th spot last year whereas CS Santosh finished 47th. The 2018 edition of the Dakar will see close to 500 participants from over 60 countries cover a grueling stretch of 9000kms spread across 14 stages.
