Hero MotoCorp has rolled out a tempting offer to clear its BS4 stocks. The company is offering the XPulse 200 with a cash discount of Rs 12,500.
The overall discounts are bound to go up as these price cuts are applicable to the ex-showroom price. The XPulse 200 retails at Rs 1.3 lakh (on-road) for the fuel-injected variant. So with this heavy discount, the overall cost of the XPulse 200 will be under Rs 1.1 lakh.
These offers are applicable at showrooms where the last few stocks of the bikes remains. The offer is not valid for new BS6 bikes and it can’t be clubbed with any other Hero motorcycles. The Gurgaon- based manufacturer claims that the prices of the BS6 Xpulse could increase by up to Rs 8000.
While these discounts should be definitely taken up, the coronavirus has messed up the overall automobile industry. Most of the cities have been shut down, due to which showrooms can’t operate. FADA even approached the Supreme Court to extend the BS4 sales, but it was refused.
